How Will The Big 10 Do?

Alright, let's hear it. How will the Big 10 do in the NCAAs Tournament. Thoughts on their first round games and overall. I have not found a prop bet on total Big 10 wins, but I did find at BoDog where the Big 10 was the betting favorite at 2/1 odds to have the best winning percentage when its all said and done. I also give an early breakdown the league's first round game within that past at the JCB.. Here are the spreads in those games. Let's discuss these and really any other Tournament thoughts....Big 10 or not. Minnesota -1 over Xavier.....11 seed as chalk, interesting.....possible second round: Pitt/Oakland Purdue -3.5 over Siena.....2nd Round: Texas A/M/Utah State Wisconsin -10 over Wofford......2nd Round: Temple/Cornell MSU -13 over NMSU.........2nd Round, Maryland/Houston OSU -17 over UCSB......2nd Round, Ga Tech/Okie State NIT Illinois -7 AT Stony Brook Northwestern +5 at Rhode Island I like the Cats a lot as underdogs. Killer all year Anyway, thoughts on the Big 10, the rest of the postseason, fire away.

is a lot, especially for the first game of a weekend. That is borderline call off the dogs. I mean lets say OSU is up 25 with 10 min left, its hard for me to believe they wouldn't at least give their starters some rest. And their bench is pretty weak. So I agree that those 17 points are looking good.

Out here in NY, Mike Francesa says the Big Ten will do poorly... claiming they are too dinged up, especially MSU and Purdue... and Francesa is usually precisely wrong in his predictions....therefore the Big Ten should do quite well.
