How other fanbases are viewing Michigan this year

Michigan is the talk of the town.  On many different message boards there are threads about us.  A sampling:

Utah is (justifiably) proud that they've scored over half the points we've surrendered.

BYU is basically in awe of us, especially defensively.  Some are convinced we'd "curb stomp" Utah in a rematch.

ND is just happy they don't have to play us.

Minnesota is undecided about whether our rise is due to Harbaugh being a good coach, or Jake Rudock being a Russell Wilson-like gamechanger.

PSU is mostly impressed but some think we're a "good matchup" for them.

Iowa has decided Northwestern probably isn't that good, but some think we're the best team in the conference.

Wisconsin fans werent ímpressed with our performance against Utah; now someone bumped that thread up and they look a tad silly.

Nebraska wonders how Michigan and Florida are seeing instant results when the Riley isn't quite doing the same.

I waded through the muck of the MSU Red Cedar board just long enough to find this thread - massively downvoted for saying we look good, of course.

And finally, the Scarlet and Gray legions are beginning to be impressed.

MSU happaened to have their best stretch in decades the moment Michigan faltered. Interestingly, as soon as Michigan hired Harbaugh they started to look as if they're looking over their shoulder at us. They can't keep their eyes on what's in front of them because they're so concerned with our team. And I get a similar feeling watching Ohio State. Neither has impressed one bit this season, and both were (when asking the right people before the season started) supposed to be fielding arguably the best teams they have ever had. Are they so vulnerable already that now is the time to strike on both of them?

I don't know. If you take away the defense, special teams, running game, ability to complete 60% of passes, coaching, and turnover margin, we really haven't improved much. I see their point.

I love that all of the pressure is on Sparty this week. They are the team that started the season with national championship aspirations. If their team in year nine under Dantonio can't beat Harbaugh in year one, then their run is over without having really won anything.
