How many wins will it take to go Dancing in B-Ball??
How many wins do you think it will take to go to the tourney for this team, and do you think they can do it?
Looking at their schedule it is hard. I've got to believe they will have an advantage against a lot of other bubble teams in regards to SOS, and if they could pull just one upset (I'm looking at you Michigan State at the end of the year) this team might have a chance.
However the most, I mean most, wins I can see out of them is 15/16. Now if they can win a couple in the Big ten Tourney maybe they could get to 17/18. What do you think, does 17 wins get this team a 10 seed?

I would say 19 gets them in since they are playing in arguably the toughest conference in basketball this year. The win yesterday was big, because it was against a BCS school on the road. Here is how the NC schedule breaks down the rest of the way.
Non-Conf Wins- Concordia (MI) (NAIA Team), NC Central, Oakland, Bryant
Non-Conf Toss-Ups- Harvard, Utah
Non-Conf Losses- Kansas
If they win both of the toss-up games then they will be 10-2 for the Non-Conf schedule. Clemson would be their biggest win, because Clemson could also be fighting for a NCAA spot at the end of the season. The biggest hurdle will be that they start the Conference schedule in a CRAZY tough manner. Purdue at home, then a winnable game home vs. PSU, then they play @ Whisky, vs. Kansas, and vs. OSU. That is 3 ranked opponents and a road trip to Wisconsin. That is a tough stretch.
Can it be done, yes, but they have to beat Harvard and Utah. I know it sounds crazy, but those two are MUST WINS.

actually there is really no argument. the big10 IS the best conference. i probably haven't been able to say that since the glen rice days. nice to be back. and the conference still is pretty young overall.
