How long does Dantonio stay?
With that Butch Davis back in the picture and Tuberville slapping graduate assistants live, starting a player straight out of jail or making cracks at an opposing players height isn't an issue anymore. Or ever was, according to some MSU fans.
Also, Dantonio probably knows by now he's at a huge recruiting disadvantage with Hoke and Meyer offering every elite player in sight, and if Bielema can get hired at 3 million plus a year, he's not gonna be there much longer.
Odds on him opening 2014 as MSU's coach? If not what school could fire their HC next year look for a defensive minded coach?

It's possible he gets pushed out at some point. He set an unrealistically high bar with the 10 win seasons. Spary fans honestly expect him to be right there with us and Ohio. There was a good bit of unhappiness this season.

His kingdom is crumbling, won't be hard to say goodbye and hello to the NBA if Michigan starts dominating in-state basketball again.

But I don't have a problem stating that Michigan has closed the gap with MSU in basketball. Given the improvement in facilities and the associated uptick in recruiting that has brought, I don't think Izzo is going to be quite the dominant force in the conference he was for the first decade of the century.

Playing devil's advocate, the same could be said for MSU football "closing the gap" with us.. they've put a lot of money into facilities, the stadium upgrades, and now even more money coming with their upcoming expansion/stadium recruiting facility. Like you said below, 22-4, bowl win, etc etc.. I'm not saying they're better by any means, just that they're competitive now.

No doubt that Dantonio has made MSU more competitive, but for all the money that MSU has poured into football, it hasn't translated into recruiting prowess. Dantonio's MSU looks a lot like Perles MSU and as good a coach as George Perles was, he could only manage a win every 3 or 4 years against MIchigan pace.
Michigan's investment in basketball, in contrast, has shown almost immediate returns in the quality of players that Beilein has brought in. I expect to that Izzo's stranglehold on the top of the conference is going to start to loosen over the next decade (if he stays that long).
If Dantonio starts pulling in Top 15 classes annually, I'll start to worry. Until then, I expect Paul Bunyan to reside in Ann Arbor most seasons. Bottom line, historically speaking, when the Michigan football program has it's shit together, MSU can't compete.

...at Tennessee. And UT likes their coaches to be unimaginative, stone-aged, and thuggish. To better identify with their fans (and their players), of course.
So yeah, I'm sure they've already tendered him an offer.

It's no secret that he loves it at MSU and they don't expect much more than he can provide. It's a good relationship. He is on the record saying he and his family are happy and they don't want to move again. Unless these 6-win seasons keep up and the fans oust him, I just don't see him leaving. And he has enough fans already endeared to him to stay for a long time.
Odds of him being there in 2014: 100%.

Dantonio went 22-4, won a shared conference championship and won a bowl game over two seasons and garnered absolutely zero buzz from programs across the country looking for a coaching replacement. That pretty much tells you all you need to know about Dantonio's stock among upper tier college football programs.
Mid-to-late 50s with a heart problem. Dantonio isn't going anywhere until such time that his record against Michigan slides back to sub .500 and his teams are consistently finishing with 6-8 wins and out of the conference championship game. By that point his embarrassing public outbursts and the annual player discipline mishap will suddenly become very important to the Spartan rank and file.
