Jane also wrote the Michigan preview piece to which Brian linked in a recent UV. In my opinion, she's a great writer and as fine a representative of the Michigan blogdom as anyone.

Had to work that day but didn't mind too much. Friday was spent talking about a giant true FR QB with a howitzer arm that would "be in by halftime, for sure" and we'd win by at least 3 scores. I knew how good an FCS team they were but didn't account for their spread, our lack of ability to stop it, their NFL laden roster, etc. Still, no reason to lose. I was getting updates and just stunned every time. I kept saying "we'll wake up eventually but I'm pissed". Next thing I know, I'm listening to the blocked FG and loss. I almost walked out of work. My arrogance lost us that game, guys. It was me. Nobody can convince me otherwise as I just talked SO MUCH TRASH Friday. So sure our offense alone would put is in the NC hunt.

I went to Cincy to see RUSH instead. It was a low point to say the least.
It was embarrassing to schedule them then and it is now.
