Even if Jabrill Peppers has an historically good performance against Ohio State (and here's hoping that he will), the fan vote counts for only 1/17 of the final vote for the Paul Hornung Award, and there's strong SEC connections among the other 16 voters.

Eight of the 16 voters on the selection committee either have connections with one of the two SEC networks – CBS and ESPN, or primarily cover the SEC (Tim Brando-CBS, Christine Brennan-ESPN, Emilie Deutsch-CBS, Ron Higgins-SEC, Jeremy Schaap-ESPN, Phil Simms-CBS, Aaron Taylor-CBS and Lesley Visser-CBS.)  Also, two of the voters have connections with either a current Michigan football rival (Michigan State’s Joe DeLamielleure) or a former Michigan football rival (Notre Dame’s Aaron Taylor.) But it's wise to my IP and I'll have to wait until tomorrow morning to vote again.  Thanks for keeping this thread alive.
