Does anyone know if any of our current commits were recruited by Hopson? Is there anyone who may not sign because of his departure?
here's one vote for "John Beilein's head in a Futurama jar"
I dont know how accurate Rivals.com is with this but according to the site Hopson recruited both the Talbott's and Tony Drake
He was recruiting Torrian Wilson also.
He recruited Grimes and Murphey too.
He was recruiting me. What does that say about him?
with the gun to that dog's head a package deal?
Ya git ah dawg wit ta deel....
a man with a pig farm.
You can find the answser here:
It's from the January 1973 National Lampoon cover. I really wish, along with the first thirty or so Silver Surfers, that I hadn't thrown it away.
Ya lyke dags?
Whoever negged you should be shot...that is perfect Pikey.
Who has the better accent
Pitt - Pikey
Del Toro - Finster
Pitt - Pikey. Snatch is a great movie.
a lot of, uh, a lot of anger
floatin' around this blog?
Kind of a pubescent volatility?
Don't you think?
A lot of angst, a lot of, "l'm
I'm angry at my father" syndrome?
Who knows, I've had posts that hit 50-60 that was negged.
I don't think I understood a single word said by Del Toro as Finster, so I guess that would make his accent better, right?
I'll pose a question of my own to the board:
Which of Guy Ritchie's three British gangster/underworld movies (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels; Snatch or Rock N Rolla) is your favorite? And why?
IME, lock stock, and it's not even close. The story in lock stock, the way it was shot, and the whole style of the movie seemed new and innovative to me. Snatch was good, but it was basically a sequel. Haven't seen RocknRolla, but I've heard bad things about it.
There were some great lines in that movie:
"If you hold back anything, I'll kill ya. If you bend the truth or I think you're bending the truth, I'll kill ya. If you forget anything, I'll kill ya. In fact, you're gonna have to work very hard to stay alive, Nick. Now, do you understand everything I've said? 'Cause if you don't, I'll kill ya."
"Shotguns? What, like guns that fire shot?"
"Oh, you must be the brains of the operation. Yes, guns that fire shot."
"I don't want to know who you use, as long as they're not complete muppets."
Oh, and the soundtrack rocks as well.
Time to go to London, the home of shitty weather and fish n chips...
hopfuly santa brings u guyz some kool ohio stat bukeye gear becuz thy r amazin
We already know people from Ohio State can't read or type. You don't have to prove it here.
I will not get banned because the beloved brian is secretly a buckeye fan :)
Ohio State dj's degrading their own fans is priceless.....showing the class that exist in C-Bus.
Maybe he's a Michigan fan poking fun at those people's inability to read or type...?
I didn't think the Franklin county library & feed mill was open this late
I tried to delete my post because everything I wanted to say was already covered in Brian's post and comments. This thread is redundant.
I would hope they are better informed than going to a specific college to play for a coach. Coaches change. Seems like there is a hierarchy of other factors that come into play.
some kids are really attached to their position coach, while others the head coach or the program.
McGuffie if you recall was really tight with Fred Jackson. Warren was tight with Ron English.
I doubt that Hopson's leaving will affect any of the above mentioned recruits.
