Remember when we were thinking Thornton, Battle, Leaf, and Teske?
Who the fuck cares what another coach does
They had Payne, Nix and Green at one time and Beilein rolled his ass with Stu Douglass and Zack Novak.

LETS ONLY RECRUITIINGGG 3 STARZZZZZ /s
I will never hate on an incoming high schooler, but this is a terrible signing. We have absolutely no need for a big.
The only way this isn't an overt disaster is if there's attrition, which I don't want to see.
when he gets here, he'll change into a 7 1/2 foot robot with jets and lasers.
seriously though, you can't teach 'tall', but you can teach most other things. we are blessed to have probably the single greatest college hoops teacher on the planet. relax, i'm sure the kid will turn out to be wonderful. he certainly has shown the wisdom to chose the right college.

Is this a delayed Aprils Fools gag?

either Doyle or Donnal will transfer after next year.

But actually Doyle is going to elevate his game, lead us to a championship, and bolt for the NBA. Beilein sophomore bump!

Beilein has brought in ONE top-100 player in his last nine recruits. Sorry, but that is ridiculous for a program like Michigan.

Wilson was ranked in the Top-100 by only Rivals, and in any event, 2 out of 9 isn't much better.
I know we like to talk about Beilein finding diamonds in the rough, and to some extent that's true, but look at the guys he's put into the league. They weren't unranked kids from Onsted.

Its comical at this point.
People think you magically recruit a NBA player for your college roster.
No, you develop NBA talent, something Beilein does and Izzo doesn't.
The sad thing is the absurd injuries that killed our roster is now giving everyone free reign to lambast Beilein.
It blows, but not developing your players actually wins out at the college game because it keeps guys around that should have already moved on.

Right because a 6'10 beating me in basketball justifies him geting a scholarship to play at Michigan. Makes sense makes sense.

This is your umpteenth utterly mundane non-take on this matter. Go powder your hair or something.

go troll somewhere else with your asinine comments. What 'fan' of UM would so relentlessly dog a Coach and his 16 year old commit? Good God, 'Beilein packing it in...', I've not heard such garbage in a long time. Congratulations on all of your downvotes, hope you get to see Bolivia.

Nobody is claiming to be a better talent scout. What people are claiming is that when no other major programs have offered and 3 out of 4 recruiting services don't even have him ranked, it's fair to question his ability to play at a high level in the Big Ten.
I mean Christ, look at the kid's video. He's 6'10" and has difficulty dunking.

Lots of recruits jump on the first big offer they get. Sometimes they don't stick with it, but usually they do. Had the first big offer been Wisconsins he might not have wanted to switch to Michigan down the road after forming a connection with Wisconsin and their staff and so on.
He likely jumped on his Michigan offer because this is his first choice. But when your first choice doesn't offer you but choices 2, 3 and 4 do, your old first choice starts to lose that luster and he may not have considered us down the road if we waited too long to offer.
