ummm...
well...
Trust in JB!
More like trust in Bacari Alexander and hope that he can mold something out of Teske and this kid given competition like MSU's big men.

it seems way too early to offer what appears to be a long-term project. not sure what the hurry is. why not try to land one of the top centers first.

Centers as we see them on the recruiting sites are top Centers in coaching circles before we know them as such. Offering him now is smart, as it sounds like the rest of the B1G is starting to take notice. Teske is a good example of this. Ricky Doyle wasn't a Top 200 guy if you go by 247. I have a feeling Davis ends up a higher rated recruit than Doyle before it's all said and done.
were paying interest too him. If Wisconsin sees something and Beilein sees something, I'll wait to see what develops.
Ohhhhh, he's a 2016 recruit. I thought that he was a 2015 guy and was really confused.
walk on?

I trust that Beilein knows a heck of a lot more than me.
My main concern is the point guard situation. The way the current scholarship situation sits, we don't have a scholarship to give out to a point guard until after Walton has graduated. I know there is probable attrition between now and next year, but it just scares me the thought of the possibility of having a freshman point guard start. I think we got a little lucky Burke's freshman year that he was able to come in and be as good as he was. Outside of maybe Irvin, I do not see too many early entry threats.

I think if MAAR can progress over the next two years then he has a great shot at being our starting PG when Spike and Walton are gone. There are also a few things that could happen that could free up scholarships. Will they switch Austin Hatch to a medical? That would free up 1 scholarship there. Will Irvin or anyone else make a leap and go early to the NBA? That could free up another scholarship. Will anyone transfer?
I know you mention it in your post, but Beilien knows what is going on with his program a thousand times more than anyone posting on this blog. I’m sure he has a solid idea of what he needs and when he needs it.

That was a terrible joke, commie.
Well, looks like the crowd spoke on that one.
Sorry if I missed the joke.
SEC style oversigning--by a coach who headed up the ethics committee.
Ain't happening, dude...
Let the media darlings have their STARZ and I'll trust in Beilein who knows what he's doing with under the radar guys.
Beilein called him today. He committed an hour later.

Listen...bro...You can get your superstars, but I'll take guys JB wants anyday of the week. He seems to have an incredible freaking record of recruiting NCAA stars...Stauskus, Burke, LeVert, Albrecht, Doyle...etc....the guy gets winners.

He was just too soft to play the 5 and should've never been there in the first place...
Put a junior or senior J-Mo on that team with Horford as the backup and he's the stretch 4 he always should have been.
Just like Noavk and Irvin aren't PFs, neither was GRIII...
Beilein's biggest flaw isn't under the radar recruits, it's not finding enough quality big guys - which forces him to go small and that pisses some guys off, and rightfully so.
Doyle had a solid freshman year. I think Teske will be the real deal...if this kid is Horford level, you're back to having 3 true centers and you're not playing guys like Chatman, D.J. Wilson and Wagner at the 5.
THAT is way more important IMO.
The face of dominance:
Wow, this guy is currently 6'10" and Teske is 6'11"

We're not Duke or Kentucky, and we're not gonna be. Football will always be first here. And you're complaining that fans aren't objective?!

I like surprises.
Teske decommiting?
Donnal transferring?
Hatch medical?
Irvin going pro next year no matter what?
Only things I can think of.
Well he said he expected no roster attrition (excl whatever might come of Caris) just 2 weeks ago so the Donnal one seems improbable. Your first option was my first thought too. I don't get it with Doyle Wilson Teske Donnal and Davis all on the roster. Even if you say Donnal or Wilson are part time 4s (which I dont see that much)....that is 5 center types out of 12 scholarships. Don't get it. Wonder if other chips are set to fall.
