for Carmen over coffee.Stay in the stadium for halftime ~900 of my closest musician friends and I will present one great performance--- not to be missed! The NY Phil brass and UMS Choral Union will be amplified through speakers on the field so everyone can hear it , not just the west side. Sounded great last night. ( don't want to slight the Alumni band , they were great also.)

I've been wondering about what this show would be like since I heard about the addition of the NY Philharmonic's brass section - from this description, it sounds like it will be rather awesome.

If possible, when Fitz or a coordinator tries to dial in a play, if now and again someone could break into random Bach cantatas too or something along those lines, that might an interesting way to add to home field advantage.

unfortunately.  But the MGoDaughter will.

Not much consolation, but I did just start the Pulled Pepper Stout Beef (from the MGoBBQ series) on the Weber kettle a few minutes ago.  It's a 6 1/2 hour cook, so it should be ready by gametime.  And my local beer store doesn't sell single bottles, so I'll have 5 stouts left over to sample.

Me, the wife, my Dad, and my best man's 10 year old daughter. She reportedly is skipping a bday party to attend and is very excited.

Go Blue!

and heading out shortly. Big time tailgate today. Grilled shrimp skewers and 8+ pounds of tri-tip and plenty of beer ( growlers from Royal Oak Brewery) to go along with. Then heading over to lose my voice high up in section 35 across the way in the Hole that Yost dug. Best seats in the house I'm telling ya. Can't wait! Yes, these are the kind of days you dream about sitting in your office on a dreary morning in the middle of February. Have a great day out there where ever you might happen to be Michigan fans! Go Blue!

BTN can be really lame . . . but it's also a blessing.  This is the kind of game you would have trouble seeing a decade or so ago if you did not live in the Big Ten footprint.

I don't know how many times I turned to ESPN Game Plan pay-per-view at game time and . . . nothing.  Just a banner telling you how to pay for the game you already paid for.

Then it was an hour on the phone with the cable company operator and then "tech support", each of who could barely spoke English.  Nothing solved of course.

Then it was wandering around looking for a sports bar that might possibly have the game on a corner TV with no sound so that you could at least see the 4th quarter.

So Yay! BTN.

We have a fundraiser today - awesome cause and great event in Delaware. I gave my tickets to my dad's neighbor to use. My dad's neighbor is Glen Steele's cousin and I think he will enjoy the game. Go Blue! Beat Northwestern!

No tickets but planning to go down and pick two up at kickoff from someone with extras who didn't know they would have extras until just before kickoff. Planning on paying $20 for a pair.

Wish I was there for this one. The wife and I will be watching from Sedona, AZ. She searched all day yesterday for a place that carries BTN. Unbelievable, but found one on the last place she called after trying about 35 bars. Just glad I'm not watching on my phone. Go Blue!!
