Home & Road Receiver Gloves Revealed
MDen is going on a gloves selling spree. They have all 3 sets of gloves from last years alternate uniforms up. They have the HAIL gloves that were released today and now these that will be worn for every home and road game.

I must be getting old. It just doesn't matter to me what gloves they wear as long as they don't wear those nasty neon green ones the Seahawks wear.
The kids love this stuff. They can love all they want but I just don't want them to be penalized for showing them off after touchdowns or big plays.
I acutally have the UTL & Sugar Bowl pairs and am going to frame them. Yes, I know I have a problem.
It seems like everyone just accepts that they do, but how do we know? I’m their age (I even attend the same university), and I think all this uniform stuff is silly. They may like it, they may not. But until we ask each one individually, how do we have any idea beyond potentially inaccurate assumptions about male college students?
I think the amount of teams doing this and the amount of gloves being sold speaks for itself.
Sales speak to how much the fans like them. His statement was that the players like them. That’s what I was commenting on.
You must have not seen the reaction the players had to the Sugar Bowl jerseys. They all loved them.

I remember a time when gloves were frowned upon but tolerated. There were 2 kinds you could get: white Neumanns and black Neumanns. Now - as one poster so brilliantly put it - the JerryWorld ones look like a ransom note.

Nope. I am just working on a project to eventually start a website that serves as a history of Michigan's uniforms from over the years. So new stuff like this interests me.
That project sounds pretty cool. Good luck and keep us updated.
Do let us know when you finish it. The closest I came was a picture on one website that had like around 10 different Michigan uniforms on it.

Just curious here. I know they're cool and all that but unless one is a wide reciever where exactly would you use or wear said gloves anyways? I know I would fee like the world's biggest douche if i was wearing a pair of these into the stadium on gameday.
When I played football in high school, almost every player had gloves. The linemen had the padded linemen gloves and everyone else wore receiver gloves.
That said, no one ever wore team specific gloves (I'm not even sure if the coach would have allowed it) so I'm not sure why you would want these gloves. Unless it's for your flag football team or something.
They make a huge difference in my flag football beer league.
Are the other players jealous that you're too cool for school?

(I would probably wear them for say Oct/Nov games when its slighty chilly out, yet you dont want to bust out the -50 mittens)
