Holtz picks Kent St. to upset Penn St.

Submitted by jtmc33 on

On Sportcenter tonight, after the N.C. St. / Cinci game, Holtz picked Kent St. as his "team to watch" this weekend.

That's crazy right?  I mean picking Penn St. to lose to Kent St, come on?

But it's not just regular 'ol crazy, it's Lou Holtz Crazy.

Because.... Wait for it.... Lou Holtz is....

A Kent St. Alum.

So, we knew he'd never pick against South Carolina and N. D., but I guess now he's picking the Golden Flashes despite common sense too.

All respectability as an "expert" is lost (if not already lost).

Its getting to the point where the pregame shows are getting to be  comedy routines, with the voices of reason usually a Michigan guy (Desmond) and a Buckeye (Herbie) which is comic in itself when I think about it.

How shocking.  ESPN has to do something to get this rambling idiot off air.  The guy was a solid football coach but he has no business as an analyst or a commentator.  I'm 100 percent sure that he would pick ND to beat the Saints, South Carolina to beat the Colts, and Kent State to beat the Jets.
