Hoke

I think Hoke has really changed the tide in the rivalry. Hell, people in Ohio have to start believing in him. Never in 2,928 days did I think I'd see that. Hell, winning his first Ohio game is a good start.

I absolutely love the guy.  We need to remember what's he done from the moment he stepped on campus as head coach.  There were a lot of things that could have tripped him up, starting with the less than enthusiastic initial reaction from a segment that only Harbaugh or Miles could have pleased.  There was a roster suited to a scheme he didn't run and a defense that had been left to wander in the wilderness.  There was all of the speculation of guys leaving, more specifically, Denard moving on.  There was the loss in East Lansing when some began to predict the annual collapse.

He met those challenges.  This is the stuff of great leadership.

now a Michigan coach, having beaten tosu on the first try with another coach's players. Sorry I was a doubter. Of course we have Harbaugh here in SF so I have the best of both worlds.

So exciting for the program! BCS Bowl (probably) and a great future. The class coming in has to be pumped and everybody wants to live up to what the seniors did this year. This is the way a program should be. Ready to reload and start again next year!!!

Before that though, Gimme Some SUGAR!

I couldn't ask for anything more from Hoke. I can't begin to explain how refreshing it is to have a coach who isn't afraid to go for it on 4th around mid field. Watching Luke Fickell punt on 4th and 5 from inside the 40 (I don't remember the exact situation, so don't quote me on that), made me realize just how lucky Michigan is to have a coach who gets it.

That's coming from someone who's a believer in the spread, wanted Rich Rod to get another year, and I was skeptical as anyone about Hoke as a head coach here.
