Doles has said that Michigan is currenty the frontrunner.

It would be huge if we can get commitments from both of them.  Harris has the potential to be one of the top WRs in the nation and Doles could also be a top 250 recruit.

Oh and wow Michigan Basketball sure is fun to watch.

GO BLUE!

Mattison is also tentatively scheduled to visit 2014's #1 overall prospect Da'Shawn Hand ( @thehand54 ) on Saturday: 247sports.com/Player/DaShawn…

If we could snag these kids it would be HUGE.  I still think Harris will be a bit tough to pull but Doles seems to be looking good.  My feelings on Harris is purely a gut feeling/speculation.

What's the general idea on how good Harris is? Top 250? Top 100? 50? Receivers' highlight tapes generally look about the same to me with only a few exceptions.

Not sure what you mean by limited by his level of competition but if you are referring to the schools GR Christian plays then I think you are mistaken. Their conference includes  schools such as East Grand Rapids and Lowell who are often in the state championship game and this year they nearly beat Cincinnati Moeller. Plus they played and beat arguably the best team in the state OLSM in the state championship game.

discount stats for kids in classes & states that are not talent rich in their eyes. According to Rivals, OLSM has 0 kids with BCS offers and East Grand Rapids has 0. If he lit up Damon Webb then the scouts would give him more credit.

Fair or not, kids in Div 1 and in FL or TX or GA get the benefit of the doubt from scouts. MI is not a hotbed of talent and Div 3 adds to the question mark.

I don't doubt his ability. Hoke clearly doesn't doubt his ability.

Harris will be a tough pull from what I've heard and read. Ohio State, Alabama, and Florida are teams that have thrown their hat in the ring. We should have a chance though because he is an instate prospect and also likes our offense.
