Michigan football coach Brady Hoke is expected to be at Colerain High School late morning or early afternoon on Tuesday, according to the Colerain athletic department.

Colerain senior linebacker Joe Bolden verbally committed to the Wolverines in April.

I'm guessing this is just standard procedure but won't he be taking classes at Michigan in a couple weeks since he's an early enrollee?

I don't know who else it would be.

Davis is a junior RB who lost his season when he blew out a knee in week 2. He ran for about 10 yards/carry as a sophomore, and Colerain plays as tough a schedule as any public school in the state.

The only other notable recruit at Colerain is S Andre Jones and he's committed to Cincinnati. http://recruiting.scout.com/a.z?s=73&p=8&c=1&nid=5455170

I guess Hoke could make his rounds to Caleb Stacey at Oak Hills and AJ Williams at Sycamore (all commits).  Colerain, Sycamore and Oak Hills are all in the same league so they are pretty close to each other.

going to have a competition of epic proportions. It'll start with archery. Then jousting. The sumo wrestling. Then pogo jumping. It'll end with dolphin surfing in the Caribbean. They'll get to the Caribbean by climbing to the top of Mount Everest and hang gliding to Costa Rica. The fact that the air is too thin to hang glide on Mount Everesty won't matter. They'll race to create material lighter than air.

I'm almost 100% sure this is all going to happen.

Michigan's had 3 guys that came from Colerain over the years, BJ Askew,Cobrani Mixon and Mister Simpson.  They've had 4 kids that I can remember that went to Ohio, A few kids that went to Cincinnati. A few that went to Miami University, Kentucky, and the Bobcats.  Another recruit last year was committed to Wisconsin, then was looking at Michigan but ended up at Kent State. I believe grades had a factor in that decision, FB Trayion Durham.

NOTE: i grew up and still live 10 minutes from Colerain High School.  They were one of our rivals throughout school and had numerous family members that went to school there.

has made up thier mind on the penalty, they need to announce so these kids know what they are getting into...Urban is most likey telling these kids nothing is going to happen. Granted they could just de-commit but still.

If Mark Emmert does anything to Gordon Gee, it will be playful slap on the rump followed by a vigorous wrestling match in the nude.

Urban knows it too, which is why he's at OSU in the first place. The NCAA washed its hands of Auburn's situation, and it won't do anything in Columbus.

LSU Freek captures the situation:

I really do not see anything so dramatic about this situation.  Our head football coach is making an in home visit to one of our recruits who has already enrolled.  Cool.

I'm sure Hoke makes rounds every so often to keep in touch with high school coaches as well as making sure commits feel comfortable.  Don't think there's anything going on here.
