Sorry to anyone that reads my stuff. Life just didn't allow time to post today. I may or may not get a post in later this week. If I do I'll try to back it up with actual research and stuff (again, no promises).
In general though, I wasn't surprised by yesterday's outcome. I was extremely glad to see Michigan play right at the level I expected actually. At this point I wouldn't be surprised to see The Game be a matchup of two teams undefeated in the B1G. Nerbraska (I think I like how it sounds better spelled that way) in Lincoln could be Michigan's bugaboo, but I think our defense is light-years better than theirs.
Sorry in advance for next week too. Hospital folks in Savannah, GA insist on wisking me down there for an official visit, to wine and dine and otherwise try to convince me that I would be happy residing in a swamp in the deep south, all in an effort to sign my freshly minted MD sugar-mama (finishing residency) to a contract (who already was wined and dined herself). I intend to let them try their very hardest and may miss some or all of the Illinois game as a result. Of course if they really wanted to get me to like them they would set up an early dinner at a good sports bar!
In case I don't get the chance to say so later, stay safe and have a great Homecoming Week fellow Michigan fans!
Edit: I have nothing against Savannah having never been there, nor the south as I lived 3 years in NC. My wife loved Savannah. I want a big (20+acres) piece of land and Savannah doesn't have much of that within commutable distance to downtown. Plus South Haven is an option so there's that. I'm sure I'll love visiting Savannah, but am pretty sure I wouldn't want to live there given the other option.
