Hoke Spring Primer- ESPN

Interesting that Hoke mentioned Kalis competing at right guard, and Braden at left. Mentioned competition at LG would be Bars, Burzynski, and Braden. Mentioned Kalis competing with Bosch, presumably Bryant at RG. Center competition comes down to Miller, Glasgow, and Burzynski.
Also sounded like Morgan and Ross will battle it out for starting WILL position. The rest sounded like typical coachspeak when talking about secondary and WR.

in spring ball, Michigan will have a total of like 5 starts between all QBs, TBs and FBs?

but does anyone have any insight as to whether or not we will red shirt Morris? I know it will be a spring time decision most likely so there is no permanent answer. I also know that our QB depth is basically non-existent. Therefore, I'm sure we will not red shirt him, but with Gardner being granted another year, that would mean Morris would waste 2 years playing mostly on the bench. Educated opinions?

It won't be a spring-time decision, because Morris isn't on campus yet. I really doubt the coaches have a 100% plan either way. There are too many variables that could change between now and September (injuries, departures, fall camp, etc.).
If I were to guess one way or another, I would guess that Morris does redshirt unless there is a serious injury to Gardner or Bellomy. I think he'll be the third option at QB all season and though he has a high ceiling, he needs some polish. I'd like him to redshirt one season, battle Bellomy (or probably pass him) for back up in his second season, and then be in a good spot to take over the job as a RS Soph.
