Hoke: No Red or Green in Football Building

Submitted by dmoo4u on

There's a short article on the Freep talking about how Hoke doesn't allow players to wear red or green (Ohio, Mich State colors) in the football building. If he, or other players/coaches, find you wearing the colors - you have to take off your shirt/hat (pants?).

Just another example of how "Hoke GET'S IT"

Beat Ohio.

Hoke gets it definitely. The Freep may not. As a fmr. Big Ten athlete at a different school, I can tell you that we were only ever allowed to wear our Univ. issued gear any time we were in any athletic facility and were discouraged from wearing any other colors anywhere. It has more to do with appeasing sponsors who pump millions into your school than anything. In this case Hoke is just doing what every other coach does. I guess I cant expect the Freep to know that. Go Blue!

Because it's the main color of the baseball team that I coach, but I don't wear any green during Mich St. Week and I didn't wear red this week. Had to change my coffee thermos for yge week cuz it's red too!!
