re his relationship with DB: they're both working toward the same goal, winning football games and supporting each other.

doesn't know if Morris will play this weekend.

won't talk about other injuries.

says DG will have an opportunity again.

Why couldn't they just admit that they were wrong a couple of days ago instead of dragging this out? It's almost like Brandon can't stand not being in the press even if it's for negative things. See the scheduling of App State.

This is half of the whole issue (other half being the screw up to begin with) .  If they just had admitted ASAP that they screwed up , and apologized,   most of this controversy would have gone away.  Instead they waffled and obscured,  and released a statement at freaking 1am, which smells of either attempted coverup or a drawn out internal conflict leading to such a late night release.

Now it's national news and there is nothing they can do that will squash this.

Exactly.  Imagine if they had come out on Saturday night and said "Look guys, in the heat of the moment, we made a mistake.  It was inexcusable and we're reviewing our protocol to make sure it doesn't happen again.  It will be fixed before we take the field again."

They didn't have to divulge anything about Shane or point fingers, and we'd all be talking about how inept the performance of the team was instead of whether or not the program has been infiltrated by people who secretly love MSU and OSU.

It's going to be a while. The search process for a new AD is going to take time - quite possibly beyond the end of the football season. If the new AD then does a search process, we could be looking at a point in time beyond Jan 1 for a new HC to be named.

In the meantime, our recruiting class will consist of the HS All-American equipment manager from the Sisters of Charity and a guy who got lost looking for Mr. Spots and wandered into Schembechler Hall.

I can't listen to a single thing this man says anymore. I could handle his dull responses and inability to divuldge information in a well thought out way when I thought the trajectory of the program was up. He seems to be offended that people even ask him questions anymore. This is rediculous.

This has to stop. Hoke continues to make Michigan more of a laughing stock every time he answers a question.

He and Brandon should be gone today, if they are looking for a mid-season easy transition time, make it the bye week, but don't wait any longer.

Wow, that's damning.  It just goes to show that it's nearly impossible to have everyone on the same page when you construct a ton of unbelievable lies.  Especially when one of the key pieces has a room temperature IQ.

"Wait, am I supposed to have not talked to Shane and Dave?  Eh, screw it *cracks open a Busch*"

What did that statement regarding recruiting mean precisely? "We have a great belief in what we do and how we're doing it" - I am not sure what the takeaway message is supposed to be on this one.

So did anybody follow up on the "I didnt talk to Brandon" comment yesterday?  Or did Hoke simply say "Oh.......you meant THAT Dave Brandon.  My bad.  I thought you fellas were asking about a different Dave Brandon.  Sorry!"
