I don't get the channel itself, by why doesn't the NHL Network cobble together some sort of deal with the college hockey teams to play some of their games? What else are they going to be doing with the time on tv and it seems like it would work out well for each party.

I agree with Al. How can you call one player for high sticking and the other for embellishment? Can't have both.
I can't comment on good/bad call in this case...
but you definitely can have both. Embellishment is just an overt attempt to try and draw a call, so if you slash me and I take a dive or make some theatric scene, a slashing penalty plus an embellishment call would be correct.
