UNO has not been great this year and they have been a major disappointment at home, going 2-4-0 with losses to Bentley, North Dakota, and Cornell. We should be able to take care of business.

No. This is not bad. The hockey team has been no slouch for several years. Also, basketball. Additionally see swimming, gymnastics, softball, etc that are MUCH more dominant than any big profit bringing sport.

You make it sound like hockey has been a doormat. You do realize it's been the most consistenty great revenue sport we've had for the past 20-25 years, right?

I agree the hockey team has been the most consistent but I had no idea that it made a buck. Hmm.

According to this article, the hockey team makes the school about $500k a year. Not much, but certainly much more than a lot of other sports
