The schedule is nuts on paper. We have games against #1, #3, #4, #5 and #13. Big Ten is certainly off to a good start on paper with three teams in the top 10 and two in the top 5.

I have a hard time taking Umass-Lowell at #1 seriously though

Nice. Hopefully the defense and goaltending will be more consistent this season...although without Trouba and Merril that might be a challenge. Time will tell. Go Blue!!!

I thought the Big Ten coaches poll - the first one for hockey - had Michigan third with Wisconsin as the conference favorite. That was released after the media day in Minneapolis, which was either Thursday or Friday last week (caught it on BTN).
