Hockey: Michigan vs. Ohio State

Down 2-0 after one period. Why am I not surprised with the dumb penalties and poor defensive zone coverage? I think this is the point where Red tells them to get their heads out of their asses.

Could I hate OSU more? Also, this BTN video feed blows it. SO much worse than typical FREE feeds around the internet. I cannot believe they justify charging for this garbage. I've just gone back to the UM radio feed. 2-man advantage coming up... better get it on, or hope for the best tomorrow night.

I was just at this game...let me start by saying how much I hate the Ohio State fans and their 10 million cheers that consist of spelling OHIO. This game was dominated by Michigan. I know we did not win, but in terms of possession and just physical play, we outplayed them. For much of the second and third periods we were on their side of the ice and OSU players were flying all over the place getting knocked down. Unfortunately, the few shots they had on our goal landed inside the net.

Was there too, Michigan absolutely dominated but found a way to lose. Highlight had to be the Michigan goal scored during the old, faithful "Don't give a damn" song. Was it me, or did that not seem like much of a hockey crowd? They cheered for goals and occasionally for penalties, but were out of it for most of the rest. Shouldn't have lost that one...

It was very disappointing given the fact that it is a rivalry game and the tickets were free for students. I think since it is finals week not many students showed up. Much of the noise came from either the band or the annoying short kid who was sitting next to me in the student section.

it always darkest, just before the dawn. Or so I'm told. But, when its really dark, I've never figured out how to tell if it's already darkest, or still getting darker ...
