6'2", 180.  In 42 regular season games, he recorded 29 goals, good for 18th in the league (29-38-67).

Does anyone have any information on the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League?  The iist of alums on the website makes it seems like their players end up all over the place.  I'm just trying to get a feel for how significant being a top-20 scorer is.  Dancs will play in the BCHL next season, where offensive success sometimes projects (Tambellini) and sometimes doesn't (Gajic).

Whenever we get a new commit I'm always excited to get them on the ice...and then I realize they're usually 14 and they won't play for us for 2-4 years

Dexter is 17 and playing for Michigan starting in 2014, after two years with the Vees.  I don't know exactly how his numbers stack up with other prospects from the KIJHL, but I do reacall reading that he was named the Rookie of the Year in the league this season, played up with the Vees for 15 games (with one assist) and was the second leading scorer on his team, behind a guy four years older.  That sounds pretty good to me.  But there's still two years and who knows how he'll end up panning out as a recruit and then how he'll fair in college.  But I really would not mind if he ended up like Brendan Morrison.
