Hockey: Fallon, Llewellyn out?
I apologize if this has been posted earlier. It has come to my attention that the Michigan Daily is reporting that Tristan Llewellyn and Joe Fallon have been suspended for the rest of the year for "violating team expectations". If this is true, Llewellyn's career is over, and given Fallon's issues before attending Michigan, it is possible that he may be done at Michigan as well.
Also, I cannot take credit for this content. This is second- or third-hand. It was also posted on USCHO as well by a poster that usually a lot more right than he is wrong. I don't know if he wants to be named, but I want it clear that I'm not ripping this off of him.

sucks, if true.
Any word on why, or is nothing leaking?

oh jeeze... Tristan has been playing pretty disciplined hockey this season. It is welcome change. This is disappointing.

I agree, he played really well in the playoffs last spring and was a +8 going into last week's games. Of course, he did have that deadhead moment up at FYS which sprung an unsuccessful breakaway chance for them. Will not miss his dumb penalties, though.
Fallon has been a trainwreck since his days at the USNDT. If it wasn't for the fact that we don't have a can't miss type recruiting class to replace our offense next season, he'd already be on to his next team.
I don't even want to think about the possibility of Burlon and Merrill bolting, either.

Can we please catch a break

for Fallon to return was certainly left open. I wouldn't be tooooo surprised to see him not come back, whether it's his decision or the coaches, but if he leaves, we're back down to 11 forwards for next year, with Di Giuseppe and Guptill, assuming nobody else leaves. Which, again, as you may notice, as I've said for a while, isn't even a full 4 lines, much less any depth. So, personally, I believe he is coming back. Unless he puts the smallest toe out of line in the next 15 months, of course, in which case he's gone.

I'll play.

Of all the.............
Seriously Angry Michigan Hating God, haven't you fucked with the football team enough? Must you go after our hockey as well.
I wonder what caused all this?

They have been taken off the online roster so that could mean it's unlikely Fallon returns.

"Berenson made it clear that Fallon had the opportunity to return next year provided his behavior improves."-http://michigandaily.com/content/fallon-llewellyn-suspended-rest-season
For those too lazy to, you know, actually read the link and just assume that Fallon's gone for good. He is certainly gone for the rest of the year, but not for his career, if he makes the right decisions. They took him off of the MGoBlue roster, because he is no longer part of this year's team.

Per Michigan Daily hockey writer Stephen Nesbitt on Twitter:
On Jacob Fallon's suspension - “Nothing to do with hockey, just behavior. He has a chance to come back next year.”
On Tristin Llewellyn's suspension - "Same situation except it's different — there is no next year for Tristin ... he's a senior."

Yeah, all signs point to doing something stupid, outside of a team function. And I don't wish to go any further on that note, either.
