Historical results databases
Does anybody know of any historical CFB results databases that include rankings? jhowell.net contains all results, but no rankings.
I'd like to see how the Big Ten has done against out-of-conference ranked teams, compared to other conferences. I'm really just interested in 10 years worth of data.
Thanks!

You can start with ESPN.com - each team has a schedule page with results. Rankings are listed, and I believe the results go back to 2002.

As far as I can tell, only 2009 and 2008 have any rank data on their schedule page and on their scores page.

Huh. You're right. Yahoo's schedule/results pages have rankings, but only go back to 2003:

College Football Data Warehouse
I love it. It provides the results of every football game ever played in I-A and most games in the other divisions. It also has all of the final rankings each year, although it doesn't have week-by-week rankings. Other than that, it's an awesome site and is absolutely fascinating. I highly recommend.

That is a great site. But it doesn't have the data I need to see things like how everybody performs against ranked teams.
