God I love college football......more than ever now with what we all have to look forward to. Goofy Ufer was he best. He will always remind me of watchin my Dad go nuts watching Michigan Football with TV sound off and the radio on.

I was one year old and some change, so I have no direct memory of this game, but my mother - the Michigan alum - and my dad - the Indiana alum - both went to this game supposedly and, if you believe my father's story, my mother went face down in a plate of fish and chips on South University. My mother apparently found every opportunity for several hours to explain Indiana football's place in the world. My family is weird like this.

But yes, it feels that happy and exciting.

as a freshman trombone player in the MMB.  My parents had come up from Pittsburgh to see me and go to the game.  I'll never forget that play.

My favorite part of this story which you don't often hear is that on the previous play a UM player was going to get tackled inbounds and would have ran out the clock. Except he lateraled the ball OOB and straight into the hands of Lee Corso. Clock stopped. Michigan won on the next play. That play is now illegal.
