Help or hurt our cause with Beachum?

LaCraig Brown re-comitted to Arkansas on 1/3/09. He originally committed in September but then decommitted and took visits. He is 6'4" and 260lbs. He is not ranked by either ESPN or Rivals but, he is a 3 star on Scouts. ESPN and Rivals have him as a DT and Scouts lists him as a DE. Arkansas is very high on this kid. So, Mgoworld, does this help us or hurt us with Beachum?

I was trying to discourage you from making identical posts about every other student we're recruiting. I could do this for every recruit by looking at the depth charts of other universities who are recruiting them but I'd rather not. In other words, who gives a fuck. Maybe he'll commit to Arkansas because it's warmer there. Maybe he'll commit to Arkansas because someone there gave him a handjob. ...

That is a good point. I thought they told him he would get a chance to play RB not that he would be a RB. Not sure on that though. I love Beachum's combo of size and speed! I really want this kid to go Blue.

Question: I am pretty sure that we have 29 schollies to give out this year and I notice that things have either fallen through (Hankins) or aren't looking too good (Beachum/Chandler) for a few of the guys we are going after to finish out the class. With the small number of schollies that we are going to have next year...is it possible that RR and Co. decides to save a couple to use next year?

The staff is continuing to recruit a number of other players, so I'm assuming they're going to try and fill as many scholarships as possible. And with this being a possible make-or-break year, they may be trying to get as much talent on campus as possible.
