Help me with my NCAA fantasy football draft

I'm doing a Fantasy Football draft right now for my NFL auction/keeper league. Basically, every year we do a two round NCAA draft and you get that players rights when/if they go to the NFL.

Some players of note taken last year still in college:

RB Knile Davis, ARK
QB Matt Barkley, USC
RB Marcus Lattimore, South Carolina (I own his rights)
QB Landry Jones, OKL
RB Malcolm Brown, TEX
QB Denard Robinson, MICH

I hold the 8th and 9th pick in the draft. I tend to favour WR becuase they seem easier to project to the next level, but if a real playmaking RB is there I would consider them. I would not consider a QB with either pick. So far the draft has gone as follows:

1. WR Robert Woods, USC
2. RB Montee Ball, WISC
3. WR Keenan Allen, CAL
4. WR Sammy Watkins, CLEM
5. WR Marquess Wilson, WASH ST
EDIT: 6. WR Marquis Lee, USC

I'm coming up at 8 and 9, who should I look at? Here are the three I'm considering as of now:

RB DeAnthony Thomas ORE
WR Marquis Lee USC
WR Dorial Green-Beckham MISSOURI

Black mamba I see being a Percy Harvin type at the NFL level. Lee looks to be a stud. DGB, I have to grab now because after this year he will likely be the first pick in this draft next year and I think he has the highest ceiling.

What say you MGoBoard? Anyone else I should consider?

Sammy Watkins, Fitz, Denard

Sammy Watkins, Fitz, Denard Robinson (according to Mel he's not a QB)

um did you read the post?

Watkins went at pick 4, Denard picked last year. I briefly thought about Toussaint but I think the other 3 have more upside. If I had a mid-late second round pick Fitz would look better there.

Logan Thomas?  I've heard him

Logan Thomas?  I've heard him talked about as a #1 overall pick possibility in 2014.

EDIT:  Oops, just saw that you don't want a QB.  What about that receiver at Cal?  Keenan Allen, I think.

EDIT EDIT:  I'm 0-for-2.

I hadn't heard Thomas going

that high. I figure it's Barkley's spot to lose at this point with Thomas, Tyler Wilson, Tyler Bray, and Landry Jones battling for 2nd off the board.

Barkley will be in the 2013

Barkley will be in the 2013 draft.  Thomas could come back for one more year after that.

One more name to throw out there... Kenny Stills, the young (junior?) wide receiver at Oklahoma.  I haven't seen much of him, but I know they think highly of him over there.

Depending on league scoring

Depending on league scoring and how favorable it is to TE's, I would consider Tyler Eifert of Notre Dame.  The top TE's seem to remain the top TE's, while RB's and WR's are harder to project.

A RB I really love who doesn't get a lot of publicity is Christine Michael of Texas A&M.  I could see him shooting up the draft board next year.  Giovanni Bernard out of UNC is another to consider.

At WR I would look at Justin Hunter and D'Arick Rogers of Tennessee, and Terrance Williams of Baylor.  If you are more of a risk taker, Andre Debose of Florida is a high risk/high reward pick.

I have never played fantasy

I have never played fantasy sports before, but how does this work?  If you pick up DGB now, do you automatically get him once he becomes pro?

yep

NCAA picks aren't a typical part of fantasy football, but we have an ongoing dynasty league where you can keep all your players. We incorporated an NCAA draft to make it interesting/hardcore.

To answer your question, yes, I would get him when he turns pro, and because I discovered him so early, I would get him at a steep discount that would allow me to keep him longer.

So does that mean once he

So does that mean once he becomes pro you still technically have to "pay" for him?

I would have to pay

for him. It's a pretty in-depth league, but I would only have to pay him according to entry level contracts which would be $4 from a $200 budget.

Is that automatically

Is that automatically incorporated into the league, or do you guys just keep track of the college players you "draft," and manually add them to your rosters when/if they go pro? If the former, what site do you use that allows you to do that? Either way, it's an awesome idea.

Man there are light content

Man there are light content days on the board and then there's today to set the gold standard in fluff. And no, I've got nothing better so I'm just saying.

Isn't there some new PSU/Paterno's stuff to report?  Or maybe one of those semi-bogus committment watches to follow?  I'd even take a Mr Ragar v Magnus battle royale right now if we could get one started.

awesome

insight. Your contribution to the board today has been a negative, making it worse. Try posting something interesting/insightful or maybe just read and don't reply.

Bows slowly........

Why thank you....thank you very, very much.

Hey I probably spoke to soon on the crappy content day.  Not only can we help select a NCAA fantasy draft roster here; over on the latest post there's quite a debate raging over the attractiveness (or lack thereof) new alternative Wisconsin jersey's for the Nebraska game.
