I love them. Very cool to do for the Naval Academy. Wish Army would do something cool like this. Though I couldn't see a grunt or an MRAP on there. Hahah, paint a Bradley, Abrams, Patriot, CRAM, HIMARS, Howitzers, or some birds on it though and I'm down! GO ARMY!

In more ways than one. There's the obvious-- i.e., that they have chosen to represent our country and put their lives on the line in exchange for their schooling. Then there's also the fact that it's incredibly difficult to gain acceptance to either West Point or Annapolis. As in, I dare say harder to get in to than Harvard or Yale; if not, it's damn close. So they're winners in attitude/beliefs, and winners in aptitude as well. Impressive, to say the least.

Go Army! Beat Navy!

I have no ties to either school besides that I always chose to rebuild Army into a powerhouse in the NCAA video games. That being said, I get wayyy wrapped up into this game. Hurts almost as much as the Michigan streak against OSU....

If you ever wanted to discourage helmet-to-helmet contact or anything that even sniffs of targeting, that would be the way to do it. Surprised more teams don't adopt this in retaliation (or perhaps to mitigate the risk of being flagged) for so many awful calls throughout the season.

My brother in law was the CO of a destroyer and served on multiple other ships in his Navy career. Really cool visiting his ship. Unfortunately the tiger cruise I was supposed to go on was canceled.

Those are the coolest looking uniforms I remember seeing in my lifetime!  Now, I really like UM's unis, but these are sweet!  I would love to see Army match them.

Met a USAFA grad after the Penn State game who was a blue fan, right before we got to meet Harbaugh, Butt, Peppers, and O'Neil by the team bus. I'd embed pics if I knew how.

Cool story bro: we were next to Jake Butts family and it was cool to hear Jake tell his perspective of the game, he said the PSU players were playing dirty (someone punched him in the liver after a tackle). Met the Kali's family too, nice people.

It wasn't always that way.

I remember watching Gordie Lockbaum and Holy Cross play West Point in Michie Stadium.  I looked down at the Army team and staff on the sideline - everyone was in white, black, a bit of gold, and gray - lots and lots of gray.  At that moment I wondered if Holy Cross looked across the field and realized they were essentially playing the Federal Government?
