Helmet Sticker Design?
So helmet stickers are back and apparently Darboh, Butt, and Glasgow earned the most stickers. I'm excited to see them and see our top players accumulate them over the course of the season.
One question though:
Do we know yet WHAT the stickers look like? Or is that still a mystery?

The offensive line may only have half of a sticker this week, Great pass protection. Terrible run blocking and creating holes. Rudock should donate any he gets to Chesson for two overthrows which should have been TDs.

Keep in mind that on the OL, four guys can do their jobs well and the play can still be blown up if the fifth player doesn't do his job. The entire line is not necessarily at fault when a play goes badly.

Zero sacks means SOMETHING. That is a big deal, even if the running game still needs work.

It also speaks to Rudock's pocket footwork and ability to get rid of the ball when pressured - two traits we haven't seen a lot of in recent years.

How much better could Gardner have been with pass pro like Rudock got Thursday? The run offense was crappy but Rudock was barely touched when he dropped back to pass
(Though there may also be something to note about Rudock perhaps having a better feel for when the pocket is collapsing, sensing pressure, etc.)

Well they're supposed to be rewards for individual players, so if Darboh did his job exceptionally well on a few plays I think he earned them.

That's a great way to kill the morale of the guys who are actually performing well
Darboh earned his recognition

how about a Wolverine sticker when we win, but if we lose and Darboh or Butt gets 250 yards, Just a sticker with a big pile of poop on it. Would that work for you??

I'd be OK with a "no stickers after a loss" policy if we were coming off a B1G title or something, but we went 5-7 last year. Seeing those stickers on their helmets is probably a nice confidence boost for the guys.

Don't see the problem, it gives the players a little bit more of an incentive to play their position even better.
But people will whine either way.

Did you have to share your xbox with the stickers? I can see how growing up with stickers instead of siblings can lead to odd personality ticks.

I wouldn't get used to those MGoPoints if I were you

I'm pretty sure Hargaugh isn't the participation medal type so if he's handing them out I'd say they were earned. I do agree with your basic sentiment though.

He probably blocked well too. A Harbaugh WR is going to have to be a good blocker.
By the same token I'd bet Perry got a few for his blocking on the Darboh screens.

Not a fan of getting helmet stickers after a loss. But, in Harbaugh I trust.

I love Bo, but that doesn't mean I can't respectfully prefer a different route to the same destination.
September 7th, 2015 at 3:59 PM ^
Yes, and doing so obviously led Mo to get drunk in public and fired. Who knows what giving out stickers after losses led Bo to do - it was probably swept under the rug.

I have no problem with the helmet stickers but nobody should walk into week 2 with more than two or three stickers unless they went out and won a game all by themselves. Passing these things out like candy will devalue them. IMO

Yeah, what is Harbaugh thinking!! He obviously has no idea how this helmet sticker thing works. Random internet posters obviously know better than he does.
