I thought the same thing.

We all think one game has more of an impact on recruits than it does, but after a TERRIBLE/UGLY loss...for him to take a step forward in his recruitment rather than take a step back and go "let me watch this thing play out a little more" is pretty cool.

I'd love to see him be an impact freshman who can start next to Kinnel next year. That said, I think Metellus is better than expected and Hudson is on the way.

They're young, especially when you toss in Long and Hill on the corners...but damn, they're going to have an opportunity to gel and gain experience just like this DL did.

We say we have a Bama level DL (which is a stretch, but we're a clear #2, IMO)...I think we'll have a world-class secondary in 3 years. They may be good before then, but I'm talking all-time, school history level.

I love that we have so many posters here that can so quickly relay awesome information like this.  But it does get frustrating when the post has no link, doesn't list his position, rank, measurables, year, or heck....even sport!

I am the OP and  was sitting in my office working and listening to WTKA in the background when I heard the news listening to Sam Webb.  That was all I knew.  There was no front page info yet and surprisingly, no one else posted it on the Board section of the Site and there were no links.

Some of you need to stop this childish whining.  Everyone who frequents the site knows that within a short time there will soon be a full discussion of this topic on the main page.

Personally, I like board posts better when it comes to things that are going to spark discussion. It's easier to keep up with new comments in the thread rather than scrolling down the front page as the OP gets buried.
