Those dudes need to hit the training table.
well that's just, like, your opinion, man
Those dudes need to hit the training table.
Easy Magnus is going to be angry
I'm more interested in what Mangus has to say
He'd say those who stay will be champions
Click to see the original. It looks fine.
Is there any explanation to the photo?
Note: I do not understand the twitter
They all need to bulk up.
Skinny recruits? Do we know who is in pic from left to right? Looks like Cole, Ferns and Harris wearing no. 1. Also, has Ferns unloaded any t-shirts?
Names: Cole, Ferns, Hood, Speight, Harris, Campbell
Body language: Likely, Hell Yes, Hell No, Hell Yes, Yes, Yes
Buckle up. Cue the Uptons.
Justin, BJ, or both?
So we're still recruiting? After reading that other thread, I assumed we'd just drop football now that we don't have Jerry Montgomery.
I just naturally assumed this was from before the announcement.
Let the speculation begin; is that #1 jersey a prototype?
Also it appears they have already given George Campbell the legends patch/ jersey. The god damn plane has crashed into the mountain!
Her life was in your hands!
Haha, it's a practice jersey.
Take the HELLO out of the title of your post, hate you for that
Would love large still, right when the two guys are flopping backwards, to frame for the basement.
That would be an awesome picture. I like you will miss those runs, but what I won't miss is an overthrow on every 5 yard slant.
That is just priceless.
He's not human. He's like a piece of iron.
Unless they all committed
Braylon won't be too happy about this....
They just use it to get peoples hopes up. They really don't give it.
That's Cole, Ferns, Hood, Speight, Harris, and Campbell. I figured I would say it now since I know it will be asked sometime in the thread.
I thought Harris and Campbell were tall, but Holy Speight!
It has me a bit worried on how well Hoke and staff have been doing recruiting... Especially with the talent and depth that has been stock-piled on your O-Line. Once they get some experience, I am nervous what they, Morris, and Green will be able to accomplish versus opposing defenses.
Are you a fan of another team or what the hell are you talking about?
I support your enemy, but I am not here to troll...
We have many enemies bro....
I am proud to say that I am a Buckeye. I enjoy coming to this site as the information makes me a more knowledgeable fan. You won't see me run my mouth or disrespect in anyway... I am legitimately nervous about your last recruiting class, though. Take all the big names and high school speedsters you want, but if you don't have the studs to block for them, they are not going to accomplish much. Your O-line is going to be beastly.
As a quick comment, I think it would be fair to say we can speculate much the same about the Buckeye d-line in the coming years.
It is going to be fun to watch and I am looking forward to great match ups under Hoke and Meyer, especially with what happens in the trenches. My concern with the OSU d-line is that they have to grow up quickly, as each starter is getting replaced from last year. Although they have talent and are highly touted, they are not proven in college competition and the majority of the 2-deep will be sophomores. I am not too familiar with who UM returns on their o-line besides Lewan. Who are the other returnees? Are your linemen expected to come in and compete for starting positions right away?
Returning starter: Schofield, probably RT. Rest of positions open, but consensus is that the 2013 guys will redshirt and your old friend Kyle Kalis will grab a spot.
Thanks for the info, Brimley. I was never really big on the anti-Kalis mindset shared by most of the fan base. Did I want him to be a Buckeye... Yes. Did I want him to go to any other school besides UM... Also yes. Can I blame an 18 year old young man for choosing a great school and great football program... Not so much. I wish him the best but I hope he becomes well acquainted with Noah Spence and Adolphus Washington in the years to come!
RDT: is that you?
welcome here. You're right about our offensive line in the future I hope. Clearly though, with the talent both schools are building up right now, it's possible we'll see a return of the "Big Two" days again.
I'm going to nickname Speight the professor right now.
Wilton 'The Harbor Master' Speight. I like it.
Is the name Wilton not yacht club-y enough on its own??
Here is the photo scaled proportionately...
Cole definitely looks more like his Rivals reported 6'5" and 275 lbs. now. Speight will definitely make it seem like Michigan is building skyscrapers on offense - 6'6'' will allow him to see the field well, not to mention most of the seats behind whichever end zone we're approaching.
Wilton Speight, meet Fran McCaffery?
HOKE GAVE THE #1 JERSEY TO A RECRUIT!!!
Wow, bulked up already, that was quick.
It was deer antler spray. Don't worry, it's legit.
Speight looks very tall compared to the rest of the recruits. Cole has great Michigan flow!
Hello: Everybody I hope would commit? Really?!?? Might wanna change that. Beers get expensive when I buy for everyone.
or does Speight look like Jim Harbaugh in that picture..?
I was thinking that, too
Too skinny. They need some more meat on their bones.
Let's start excessive compulsive speculation based on body language from one photo!
Ferns and Speight already committed. Cole with his arm around Ferns, means Cole will be committed. Hood has arms crossed, will not be committing. Speight and Harris with arms around each other with Harris smiling means Harris committed. Campbell with arms down but smiling means "so what you're saying is I have a chance".
Kidding aside, your post may be the most informative on this thread. Body language in situation like this can be very revealing. Harris' demeanor here is encouraging.
I'm thinking Drake looks the most excited of the current non-commits.
Ferns and Speight may, in fact, be more excited?? How exciting!!
oh the eyes...
That the Shat can't fix.
To be second behind green? Green and Hayes are gonna be a great combo
I think it'll end up being Green and Johnson. When the coaching staff was even mentioning burning his redshirt for OBB and SC. Is he that good? Burn his redshirt for one game? Even the mention of it has got to make you wonder, right? You know he's got to be making one hell of a push. Justice might be headed for the slot, which I think he'd be great at. But that's just me.
Thanks Bodolog. That picture is like Valentine's Day all over again.
Is Speight taking a year off after HS to recover from his injury?
What positions do you need to fill the most with this upcoming recruiting class?
WR, DE, QB and DB would be at the top of my wish list. What the coaches think may be another story.
it was one and done at QB.
This is a real deep and talented year for DB... With Morris, do you think Speight will redshirt? He is towering over your other (potential) recruits in that photo.
Can you imagine Harris and Campbell starting on the same team? They could be the #1 WR in their respective class.
Pleated white khakis? Properly belted at your waist? Are you wearing Sperry Topsiders, too? A Michigan man knows how to dress for the occasion, man! I dub thee Melvin!
Then again, I was at the HTTV release, so I guess I can't say much.
That's the standard Richmond attire
Let's not hate on the Sperry's, k?
