Nice, he didnt even make his committment a big spectacle on twitter. Retro

Heres a Wiltfrong tweet to an article about Hayes commitment https://twitter.com/SWiltfong247/status/868597434385137664

247 has Ryan Hayes rated as the 102nd player in the nation and the 10th OT in the nation

247 has Jalen Mayfield rated as the 86th player in the nation and the 9th OT in the nation

Thats TWO Top 10 247 Offensive Tackles within 5 days!

I thought that was what Witfong was referring to in the tweet at the top: "We welcomed our second boy into the world this morning."

[Followed by "Wife and son are doing well."  Congrats, Steve and Mrs. Steve.]

When all the recruitinng sites catch up with the recruits Michigan has and are going to get there will be a huge jump up. Some of the kids don't even have a rating yet for some sites. I think this class will be twenty and will rank right up there when it is all done.

Which is quite often, but I am honestly curious why 3 people spent points to neg this post?  He is currently a big, athletic TE at the HS level and we have a need for inline blocking TEs.  I don't think my statement was shocking or negative in any way.

I get that he will outgrow that position and expect that by year 3, he will hopefully be an All B1G tackle but that doesn't mean he can't play some TE first.  It is a natural transition.

Well, nice to return from a film screening (one I am in for about 30 seconds) to some good news on the recruiting front. Most of the time, these things seem to happen when I need to step out for a few hours, so maybe I'll do that more often.

Welcome to Michigan, Ryan Hayes.
