Always awesome to pick up a talented DE! Defense is what wins championships! Excited to see this kid in action!

So I just back from class and turned my computer on. On my twitter feed, I see Steve retweeting the link to Ross Douglas' hello post. I definitely had a combination of confusion, shock, and elation.

I really like our secondary recruiting this year. Looks pretty solid I love these coaches and how they evaluate talent. Ross Douglass might be scrappy enough to fit the mold of the boundry side corner. Can't wait to see how these kids develope under Mattison and co.

This happened so fast that ESPN bottom line actually broke the news to me. I literally can't believe ESPN is becoming relevant in recruiting. *head explodes*

First-Hello Ross, we are glad to have you

OT- I decided to check out how this might change rankings and I hit up ESPN, I accidently clicked the wrong rankings getting the postseason rankings. The rankings by the pros(both) seemed accurate but the fans didn't even have Michigan in the top 25. Beyond that ND was in the top 25 and Ohio has number 6. ESPN is absurd.

It's a great move for Ross.  Ideally, Treadwell will close out the class before awkward situations arise - i.e., having to say no to Green and McQuay.

Don't really need a CB. Are we trying to "save" some kid? Not sure I want to be tied this mess in any manner. Let USC and Ohio do the poaching. Hoke first mistake. I think so. Ither recruits out there at other positions of need.

If we didn't need a DB then why were we looking at Fuller and McQuay? Apparently this coaching staff wanted another DB and they got a gritty, fast, and breakup machine with Douglass. This is a great pick up and were going to have one of the best pass defenses in the nation in 2 years

I like this commitment a lot.  We have been on the outside looking in for both Fuller and McQuay for quite some time.  Waiting any longer would have most likely resulted in us getting a much lesser player at CB than Douglas.  And Douglas is a pretty darn good player in his own right.
