Reon Dawson is a WOLVERINE. He just committed to Michigan. Story coming on http://Scout.com

OH DB Reon Dawson has committed to Michigan. The former Illinois commit was planning on calling both coaching staffs Wednesday.  I dunno what changed that, this just came across my twitter feed. I hope it's not a journalist ruining a kid's moment, but I don't actually have a scout subscription, so we'll see what news comes out from here.

Welcome Reon, and Go Blue

EDIT: Confirmed by TomVH

Its actually does make losing Webb Hurt anymore. I like the tall corner option. Plus he comes in a year earlier. I dont know why but I am not a fan of Webb, I know he is highly rated but his demenor and idk the way he carries himself doesnt fit the "michigan man" mold to me.

Remember how Dawson decommitted and many idiots bashed him and then he recommitted? Brian said something about not bashing 17/18 year old kids who weren't coming to your school. It seems like common sense, but for some reason people always need reminding.

No need to tear down Webb to show support for Dawson. It is a disservice to both young men. Let's be happy we've picked up another commit to finish out a fine 2013 class. It's awfully early to worry about 2014. f the past is any indication, Webb's recruitment could take some unexpected turns before it's over.

Welcome Reon. Go Blue!

All of the Devins, all of the Dawsons - it's not just recruiting, it's acquiring the rights to names as well. I like  where this is headed.

Welcome to Michigan, Reon, and Go Blue!

I would really feel bad for the kid if this information was leaked early.  However, if not I wonder if the coaching staff told the remaining kids, outside of Green, that the first to commit was only one who they would take.

to be made with just a call to him, rather than a press conference. I won't speculate on his reasons, but hopefully his commitment, his football career and Michigan all meet his expectations.

Welcome!

yes but then he has to go back to real life.  having 20 hot chicks compete over you for a couple weeks could ruin someone for real life for the rest of their life.  that could be what ruins child tv sitcom stars.  not that i would not be willing to risk it mind you.  just stating science.
