Hello: Patrick Kugler
I was excited with the 2012 class, but these 2013 kids are perfect compliments to those guy... How fun will it be to see these kids compete for starts?
I know he didn't visit MSU, but pretty funny nonetheless
Fuck!... ..... ....huh?
Serenity now.
Greatest OL class ever? Well, ratings wise anyway.
can Denard play another 2 years? our OLs will just carry him into the Endzone.
... before anyone picks up CATS on the offensive line like this again.
I sit down and open up the blog, thinking it would be an uneventful day... and I see a hello post. So much for Sparty junior day. Welcome aboard Patrick.
Sparty thinks they really had a shot with Kugler.

For those asking/wondering, Kugler decided not to take his scheduled visit to MUS. He didn't commit to #Michigan while visiting the Spartans
That would have been epic though
Maybe dantonio shouldn't have cut off coach heck at that recruiting camp... He could have learned a thing or two
Even though somebody says this in just about every recruiting thread, the schadenfreude never gets old.
unfair. I almost, almost feel sorry for Sparty. They are rationalizing that many of our 4 star recruits will not pan out. Some may not, bit I sure like the percentages and I'm sure Sparty would be doing cartwheels if they had half of our 2013 recruits.
Really? I'm surprised they would say that. The only thing I have heard/seen from them is a lot of "damn, would've been nice to have him/them".
I have seen a lot of them arguing the depth charts, which I guess is valid, but haven't seen them flat out saying the kids won't be good.
Didn't you admit to being a Spartan awhile ago? Your brilliant disguise is not very convincing.
but it's on the RCMB if you care to look for it.
I'll feel sorry for Sparty when we trounce them on the field. Not now.
I'll NEVER feel sorry for them. Fuck them.
Seconded.
From that day foward, I could care less about what happens to those bums.
It's a good thing I saw the Sam Webb thread just below or I would've been completely unbuckled. That would've been bad for me.
always carry protection good sir!
A rivals 100 OT sweep? Probably unheard of, but...wow.
13 OL in Rivals top 100. Michigan has 3, and all 3 are in the top 60... There are 28 linemen in the Rivals top 200. Michigan has 5.
No other school has more than 1 of the top 28 linemen committed right now; only six of the top 28 linemen have committed to another school (ND, Texas, Florida St, Texas AM, Alabama, and North Carolina have one apiece.)
Only 17 Uncommitted OL prospects left from the Rivals Top 200. Considering the heavy hitters from each conference:
ACC - Clemson, Florida St, Miami, Va Tech
Big12 - Oklahoma, Texas, (WVU)
B1G - Nebraska, OSU, Penn St, Wisc
Notre Dame
PAC - Cal, Oregon, Stanford, USC, Washington
SEC - Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Tennessee, (Tex AM)
There are 24 big time schools fighting for the remaining 17. That's right. Less than 1 OL left uncommitted per school listed above. And we all probably believe that Alabama, Florida, Florida St, LSU, ND, Oklahoma, OSU, Texas and USC will end up with multiple. There's not enough left on the board for each of these elite recruiting teams to snag 3 (spread evenly, each of these teams could end up with 2.2.) And remember, Michigan has 3 of the top 9 OL; everyone else is left fighting for 2.2 among the top 28. That is how amazing Michigan's haul of 5 OL in the Rivals top 200 really is.
Excellent work on showing this in detail. When you think about it, it really is all the more amazing.
Yeah I think we are gonna be good for a while.
According to RCMB he is an MSU lock b/c of the OL haul we already have.
Ha:
Schadenfreude from another Kugler thread:
I don't give a baker's fuck if I get downvoted into oblivion. This staff, has officially shit the bed. They've missed on 90% of their plan A targets. Patrick Kugler was qouted as saying he was an MSU fan. How the fuck do you continuously get owned by a school you've owned 4 straight years. I don't want to hear about tradition and what they did 100 years ago. No one gives a fuck. This staff flat out can't recruit worth dick. They're unorganized and inept. They scheduled a junior day when the head coach wouldn't even be there. I wouldn't commit either if the HC didn't even extend the courtesy of his full attention.
Sparty tears taste like Sugar.
silly question, but who said this?
at the Sugar Bowl and it was awesome.
A whole bunch of HS kids give a fuck, apparently.
And not just for RCMB.
Cam Dilliard is a lock there. And he is better than everyone Michigan recruited.
Too bad he is going to the SEC and there will be another meltdown for them when that happens.
He needs an offer from them first. There's a reason he hasn't gotten a Michigan or State offer. I know the State coaches feel he has already reached his potential.
In fairness that poster is actaully a lot more correct than the rest of the posters on that board.
I keep telling freinds who spank the sparty, if you don't keep pace right NOW, you will fall back to where you came from...Mediocrity!
Now that is hilarious!!!!
Thank you for sharing this! I love that fan's assessment! If that is true that their HC could not even attend their junior day, that is pretty sad. I am so impressed with his candor I won't even give him a hard time about his use of "unorganized" instead of disorganized which would have been a better fit. No doubt his grief caused a momentary grammatical lapse.
lol, you're spending A LOT of time digging through posts on a Rival's message board... might not wanna brag about that.
That is freakin priceless!
"We're getting our clocks cleaned by scUM. And don't give me the "Dantonio develops talent better line" ... these are guys Dantonio wants. Kugler was supposed to be ours."
If I was an MSU fan, I would wait to read RCMB until Monday. There's no need to ruin your weekend with news of your teams continued inability to beat Michigan in recruiting.
And then there's this:
"Wow. This is unbelievable I try to refrain from posting in such threads, but this is looking bad. It's like USC recruiting against Little Sisters of the Poor. Hoke is absolutely having his way with us right now. Even when Lloyd was here and we had JLS, we at least got these kids to give us a look. What Hoke is doing to Dantonio on the recruiting trail is absolute murder."
This is Michigan FerGodsakes!
EDIT: This was supposed to be a responce to what RCMB said.
if your spelling isn't any better than theirs...
THANK YOU for this link!!! Reading what MSU fans are writing about the ongoing genocide being committed against their football program is almost better than reading the posts about these kids actually commiting to us!!
Best OL in the history of the world.
Hey Ty Isaac, this wouldnt be a bad oline to run behind for the next 3-5 years. This is ridiculous. Love it.
that he wouldn't necessarily have to run. I bet he could take a leisurely jog behind these gents.
haha you are probably right. Even if we dont get Isaac, one would assume we could get another highly touted RB. I mean we have the best OL in the class of '13, playing time will be available, and its Michigan fergodsakes!
I wonder if that offense would start to look a bit like the Badgers this year ... in many of the earlier games this season, they just ran the ball & the O-line gained them 3-4 yards of space to ratchet forward every down.
Of course I don't want our offense to be pure manball, but that sort of reliability would be an excellent foundation to build off of. Throw some explosive playmakers into the mix, a little bit of Shane, and now you're cooking with goddamn rocket fuel.
welcome patrick.
Or did he call Coach Hoke from Dantonio's office to commit (as someone here was hoping earlier)?
if he donkey punched Dantonio in his office, THAT would be epic
This kid could have gone anywhere. Scout credits him with MSU and OSU offers and many consildered ND or PSU leaders. Visits and commits. This staff is doing a fantastic job.
Another one with a nasty streak :-D I LOVE THIS CLASS
Is he too tall to play center? Any way he could project to center?
Hate to pull a Ferris Bueller, but I did hear he wants to play center. Whether he's too tall at 6-4ish is a different story.
I assume he's skipping the MSU Jr. day?
EDIT: Beaten to the punch, so here's a kitty jumping into a window sill
I see your cat jumping into a ledge and raise you one cat pushing a watermelon out of a lake
That is frickin' AWESOME. I laughed out loud. Twice! +100! Awesome!
Welcome Patrick!
Just poured my Coffee...
Yes, please.... Love these kids who are so excited to be part of Michigan!
Welcome, Mr. Kugler!
WHOOOOOAAAA NELLY!!!!!!!!!! I HOPE THE MAYANS GOT IT WRONG BECAUSE I WANT TO SEE THIS CLASS IN ACTION!!!
TY ISAAC COME ON DOWN!!!!
We can get an extention?
I'm pretty sure this O-line could hold off whatever the apocalypse has for us long enough for Devin and/or Shane to take us to a B1G Championship.
Good news and all but does this mean we're out of the running for Patrick Kluger now?
I'm still stunned that they haven't offered Patrick Krugler yet...
I'm happy for M; happy for this kid. Win win situation
Anyone want to speculate on the other 7 we land this weekend
calling for..........
Unreal. To think that we have 5 awesome offensive line recruits in this class and that we were probably the leader for several more top O-line prospects. I get the feeling that we will have a great offensive line for at least as long as Hoke is here.
coming for rb & wideouts (quality wise). And what defensive studs don't want to play for a team that controls the time of possession? Defense wins championships, but it's a lot easier when they are not on the field more than half of the game.
also, can kulger play center?
I was wondering the same thing, 6'4 seems a little tall to me. What do you think?
rcmb says MSU was recruiting him to play center FWIW...
Caught that post while searching for 'fraude :)
According to Webb, it seems like Michigan is too.
6'4" is maybe a teensy bit tall for Center, but honestly we have to remember that Molk was "undersized" at 6'1 1/2" or so. Idk. I trust Hoke and Funk and if they think this kid can play C, then HE WILL PLAY CENTER FERGODSAKES
His dad is an offensive line coach, I would bet he has the skills he needs to excel at center. I hope he moves to the middle, we need him there!
I trust Hoke and Funk
I think at this point Hoke and Funk have built up enough cosmic mojo trust that I'm willing to believe anything they say and do anything they ask. They're recruiting machines.
It isn't totally out of the realm
There are mutilple NFL Draft eligible centers between 6'3 and 6'5
Peter Konz - C - Wisconsin - 6'5
Michael Brewster - C - Ohio - 6'4
Ben Jones - C - Georgia - 6'3
Bob Herbert - C - LSU - 6'3
David Snow - C - Texas - 6'4
Grant Garner - C - Oklahoma State - 6'3
Ben Burkett - C - Northwestern - 6'4
Baas is 6'4". He worked out OK

Everitt put on a Freshman 10 and a Sophomore 35!
How, exactly, does Baas shrink an inch between his freshman and sophomore years? Did he not drink enough milk or something?
Colliding with Pipkins during practices will probably smash 2 inches off his frame.
YES! Who's next? They come in pairs. The kid's dad is the O-line coach for the Steelers. He is going to be a freshman who is well coached and going to be a stud.
Levenberry and/or Isaac, or both, trips beat a pair any day.
Jaron Dukes pairing.
Actually, the pairs come in pairs of pairs. I just hope Hoke can wrap this up before the bball game tips off. Slacker.
I am really stoked about this commit. What a great pick-up.
Welcome Patrick! Look forward to seeing you play in the Big House.
What a nice start to the weekend!
I could run for a 1,000 yards with this O-Line Haul...
Woke up with a nasty cold, feeling angry and unbuckled. But now I am so excited!!!!! Wooooo!!!
Dad's the Steelers OL coach? Ya... I think this guy is going to be good.
I guess it's safe to say he has had a day of quality offensive line coaching.
Poor Sparty. Another 4 star O-Line commit makes Hott Karl a happy boy.
At this rate they will have to take their national recruiting to hawaii
Hmmmmm... what will Hoke & Co. do with Pocic cmmits too? Welcome Mr. Kugler!
This bodes well for the health of the OL over the length of the season. That pro style substitution thing is going to happen here.
Go Blue!
On running plays...
for an Avatar. Not as cool as Snoopy on his Doghouse, but I can live with that.
So how are we going to fill out the class today? haha... I kid. Welcome Patrick!
4* OL commit and a Garmin win at Omloop! This day has started off well.
Seriously though, remember when Tommeke was invincible?
Welcome Patrick. This is a great pickup. As a few others have said above, we have heard via sources (commits, sam webb, etc.) that the coaches PLAN to take 5 OL. What happens with a situation like Pocic, for instance, now? Do you turn down a commitment from a player like him or do you (as a coach) shift your recruiting numbers a bit. I would be very interested to hear answers from of the knowledgeable football members (who know far more than me), such as Magnus, etc.
I would guess it depends on what happens with attrition. If numbers open up to where the coaches can address all of their needs and still have room for an elite OL like Pocic or Tunsil (please?), then maybe they take him. This is purely speculation. I don't think that the coaches would take Pocic if it meant Ty Isaacs spot would be taken, but if they have room for everyone they need plus 1, then they do it? Magnus?
Would Pocic want to commit with 5 already committed? I hope the other 4 don't get freaked out and bolt, committing this early gives plenty of time for someone to swoop in.
there could always be a switch from the OL to the DL. all good!
Does anyone know if *potential* position switches from this years (2012) OL class would/could have an effect on next years (2013). As far as the discussion of Kugler-center, still bringing in Pocic, etc. goes...
committing this early gives plenty of time for someone to swoop in
True enough ... but I have to believe Hoke and staff have that angle understood and work their golden poop magic as part of the process of keeping them committed.
Agreed. The staff will continue recruiting the kids who commit all they way until signing day. They will also keep up their relationships with guys like Tunsil, Pocic and McGovern in case one guy does decommit, or we have more attrition or an open slot comes available by February (2013).
I think your point about attrition is probably more important than a lot of us consider initially. The coaches have much more information (obviously) on the state of each player (who is coming/going, injury, motivation, etc.). I agree that I think they would first make sure all of their needs were filled (or able to be filled, number-wise), before taking additional spots at any given position.
I think I am still unable to comprehend that perhaps, just maybe, our OL depth issues of the past 3 years may be put to rest (moving forward). We may again be looking at a situation where the OL (even the most talented) are able to take that redshirt year to bulk up and learn the offense before (hopefully) getting in a rotation, then the 2-deep, and then eventually start.
EDIT: Intended as a response to sak2351 above
We are playing with house money now. Can sit back with five excellent guys in the fold and if later in the process a a top guy wants to commit we will likely make room for him. They used to call this the catbird seat = Sweet!
And somewhere in a dark place, Coach Dantonio cries himself to sleep....
Welcome to the family, Patrick!
/ 4 star mafia
/ My granny could lead the B1G running behind these guys.
/ and she has a walker....
Works for me.
I'll get started on the statue of him that will inevitably be built.
I still have concerns. For example...
...uh...
I HAVE NO CONCERNS THIS IS AWESOME.
Given all weekend to brainstorm some concerns, we'll invent some.
So anyways, I was just thinking about how the '97 season could have been better.
If we had started stronger against Iowa, I wouldn't have passed out before the game ended.
when I think about how we punted right to Tim Dwight before halftime and he did his thing on us. Why didn't we just kick it out of bounds? ARRRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!! That really pisses me off. The rest of the season only sort of makes up for it.
i would venture to say we now have one of the best o-line classes in history over the past two recruiting cycles. And, to me, the crazy thing is all but one are from the midwest and they are all guys who are legit D-1 starters on pretty much any team.
Rivals #54 player in the country....too sweet. Dad the Steelers OL coach...too sweet. Sparty Jr. day having one less attendee...too sweet.
It's cool tho, because Sparty recruits intergalactically
That explains why some of their recruits treat humans as second class citizens.
Funny, because one might think that the success of their emperor while at Michigan (and now in the nfl), would have most recruits from space thinking about Michigan before thinking about State. I guess this whole "Dantonio owns the cosmos" meme has some truth to it??
You're on fire, Michael!
I laughed so hard my son started laughing with me and did not even know why. Joy is contagious.
FWIW, he was #1 on BSD's target list for o-linemen.
http://www.blackshoediaries.com/2012/2/23/2812856/penn-state-recruiting-roundup#storyjump
Technically yes, actually no. They say at the top of the board "(Recruits listed in no particular order...yet)"
that will pop up on RCMB later...
Ah, back to normal.
"Wow. This is unbelievable I try to refrain from posting in such threads, but this is looking bad. It's like USC recruiting against Little Sisters of the Poor. Hoke uber alles.
I almost like the Schadenfreude more than getting the recruits themselves, almost.
The disgust on the RCMB is rich, decadent you could say. And seeing Jon L. recruiting comparisons get worked into the mix...well this is a symphony green and white pain.
love it when theyre past denial and can only admit to getting owned
Your avatar is completely relevant in this thread, not only because of Sparty's tears of unfathomable sadness, but because that episode was just on 10 minutes ago.
You're a tad slow on the draw there:
http://michiganstate.247sports.com/Board/93/Per-his-Twitter-account-Patr...
Ah, delicious irony.
I thought last year's OL class was terrific. These two classes together are just TREMENDOUS. And, I don't think 6-4 is too tall for center. Clay Shiver was 6-4 and was certainly a great player.
Per Sam Webb we are done with the O-line class in FEB! This is crazy, I'm drinking a cocktail at 10:40am.
Ish Neber too early butt whoo needs cokstails when yu can f8nish off a pint of vodkka buy 10:50?
/not drunk
/got way too much sleep
/great day
HIs highschool is a perennial powerhouse in Pennsylvania football. It nice to get in there, and Western PA in general
and staff on another great pick up!
This is just way too much fun! Class may be full by the Spring Game!
What exactly is a "baker's fuck" anyway?
Sparty better get used to it. They were the beneficiaries and unorthodox recruiting practices at Akron State and in Ann Arbor for a couple of years. Not so much anymore.
This is our 13th recruit. Baker's dozen?
all this hoopla with sam webb's stomach cramp? thank you
We have 4 OL's now two projected to b tackles. Does this mean we should say bye to pocic?
Brady Hoke gets up in the morning and just pisses excellence.
was going to be Danica! NOT! Welcome Patrick!
by the end of the weekend?
Nope, it's about Kate Upton.
Coach Hoke and his staff are on fire!
This is exactly why I have become addicted to mgoblog. Just yesterday I was here reading about how Kugler really enjoyed his visit, and I was hopeful for a possible commit in a few months. I woke up this morning and immediately checked this site (like a junkie who needs his fix), only to find out Kugler cancelled his visit to MSU and decided to go Blue! Awesome! What a way to start a Saturday!
ACE WAKE UP! YOU HAVE WORK TO DO!!
New commit, michigan is on B1G network beating OSU, cocktails. I'm still buckled in. whats next?
The way things are going the Michigan win over Ohio in basketball the B1G network should keep replaying the game until our class is full. We'll love you for it B1G network.
Coach Funk just poured himself a glass of a fine single malt scotch. I know it's only 11:00, doesn't matter.
Maybe that's the secret to this success.
I think Coach Funk must be some kind of alien from another football dimension or something ... out of nowhere this guy has offensive linemen drooling to come here.
I'd have his baby. I would.
we may be able to make that happen. We can build him, better, faster, stronger.
had a hand in this too. He and Sean Kugler probably knew each other well from being in the same division. If Kugler liked Mattison and Mattison talked up Michigan, Brady and Funk, then the rest writes itself.
that he is tight with Erin Andrews too!
Kugler committed during the BTN replay of the Michigan/Ohio basketball game from last week.
Coincidence? Or does the magic of Best Weekend Ever work on tape delay as well?
But without all the scary. Unless you're Ohio or MSU, then it's probably really scary.
Someone get that tape to Isaac!
Well he didn't have a "non committable" offer from Ohio, must not be very good! I'm hoping you detect the sarcasm
Beyond the obvious river of talent generally, they're bringing in tough, ornery big men up front and not just athletes. In the deluge of Hello posts from "The Weekend," there were quite a few times I saw linemen with adjectives like "nasty," "mean-streak," "high-motor," etc. Kugler and Kalis seem to be cut from the same cloth from the sounds of it. Yeah, I'll have another of those, please.
You could line up Fred Jackson behind this line and he'd look like Bo Jackson, except healthier.
I'm really at a loss for words right now on the way Hoke has tackled recruiting. He could probably stop for the next 11 months and Michigan would still have a top-20, maybe top-15 class.
Shane's going to have all the time in the world to look downfield for his receivers, and Ty Isaac might want to take a little bit of a closer look at Michigan now, considering he could be receiving running lanes from one of the greatest o-lines in recent memory.
Good pickup for Michigan. This class is shaping up to be one to remember.
how many is that in the class now ?
The coaching staff must want a prolonged summer vacation...welcome aboard!
Not sure this is good for the run game. The line is going to be opening so many large holes, the ballcarriers may become hesitant as they have to choose which one to take. The size of the gaps in the DL may make them suspect a trap and pull up.
Furthermore, this could damage the passing game. You know how when you play touch and there's no one rushing the quarterback, and he just kinda stands there taking his time while everyone else is running around getting exhausted, waiting for him to make up his damn mind and just throw it already? It seems obvious no one is going to be able to generate pressure on our pocket, and our receivers are going to get tired, especially if Shane sees Kate Upton in the crowd while he's standing back there, and he goes
"Holy crap, that's Kate Upton, are you dudes checking this out?"
...and Kugler or Bosch or Fox or LTT is gonna be all like "Dude, we're in the middle of a play, please don't get distracted just because you have all day, and... holy crap, you're right, hey check that out, that's Kate Upton doing the Dougie in Section 26, Row 15."
Thus endeth my concerns.
After enjoying some schadenfreude over at the RCMB, it looks like Dantonio decided not to attend MSU's junior day today. Several prospects cancelled their visit and the biggest slap in the face has to be Kugler's commitment to Michigan.
Saint Dantonio must be doing his thing on a national recruiting search.
My favorite:

It's getting harder these days, it seems. Trying to get "past the line" will not mean what it once did.

Here, the O-Line carves out a decent running lane...
so sam webb says this could help with kozan?!?!
Our '12 and '13 OL class has (according to Rivals) one 5*, eight 4*'s, and one 3*. It will be hard for anyone (even Wisconsin) to top that. The smallest guy in the group is 6' 5" / 275 in high school.
If you believe football is won and lost in the trenches we are going to be in great shape.
6'4" is a good size for a center. Anywhere between 6-3 - 6-5 is pretty good, but it's more about the build. I'm fairly certain Kugler is being brought in as a center, so this is a huge get for Michigan
Is he or one of our other commits gonna switch to center? Or are we taking a center as well? Honestly at this point, I wouldn't be surprised if we just took 18 offensive linemen in the rest of the class and just ran the flying wedge for a guaranteed 4 yards a carry. We'd win T.O.P battles 48-12.
ha! Just saw Space Coyote's post above. In that case, does this mean we're out of the running for Pocic, or is he still on our radar as well since all your offensive linemen are belong to us?
sam webb just said that kugler can/will play center
But shall he?
I was just talking with a friend of mine and we mutually agreed that Ty Isaac would need to have his head examined if he doesn't choose Michigan.
If your friend is Ty Isaac, this is amazing news.
We can only hope that he will be our weekly Sunday recruit...
Who's visiting MSU this weekend that we can get a commitment out of on Monday?
Go Blue!
The 11W reaction thread is short but has some great bits of schadenfreude.

My favorite
"Another O-lineman? At what point do you have enough? Reminds me of the Detroit Lions when they grabbed WR after WR year after year and ended up with just that for a few years. It's worked out now but they can stay for more than 4-5 seasons. Beginning to think Hoke wants headlines as much as anything. That's why he grabs the Ohio guys and then Mgobluh makes a huge deal of it. Good luck to him he'll need it."
Apologies for the blockquotes fail.
11W general opinion is that UM is over signing O-lineman??!! Now that our Oline haul is complete, a look at the team's two most recent classes
Michigan OL commits 2012:4
2013:5
Ohio OL commits. 2011:5
2012:4
2013:?
Arguably, we had the 2nd best OL line in the country for '12. At this point, any other school pulling in a better OL line class for '13 may be, literally, impossible. There may not be 5 available OLs better than what we've already lined up. It's just now hitting me just how impressive this is. If I'm Ohio or anyone else in the B1G, I'm thinking two things: 1) get whatever success we can now before these guys start rolling us, and 2) come up with a strategy for dealing with this (not sure what that is--stock up on DL studs? Negative recruiting? Go for broke trying to pull commits away?)
Just...WOW.
In all fairness Akron State Remedial Junior Tech has a pretty good start on the stockpile a good D-Line strategy; though I don't know that their incoming OL talent is on par with the good D-Line guys we ourselves have.
Isn't it about time a bunch of 2014 guys start commiting so Hoke & Co. can start working on the class of 2015?
Holy schnikes! I leave the board for two hours to do some work, come back and BAM!, we have another commit. I'm going to keep working until just before the basketball game and then check back in. At this rate, I expect to see commits from Isaac and Levenberry . . . at least.
Bahahahaa. Love it
Brady Hoke: Good at recruiting
I can hear the Ohio fans down playing this by saying "we didn't want him, or he would have chosen us". I bet Hoke gets their attention when Michigan rolls them in the shoe.
Hoke rules!
Apparently Kulers dad is the OL coach for the steelers. Im just guessing that this kid's technique is pretty solid.
why is everyone so in love with Ty Isaac? Have you seen his highlight tape? He never has to put his shoulder down he runs upright, yes he is fast but dont we want someone who has proved they can hit a linebacker and keep going. I understand with this great of an o-line haul that he will never have to worry about getting tackled, but in all reality he will. He is the polar opposite of a mike hart. Why dont we turn more attention to a guy like DeVeon Smith or Derrick Green those guys have great speed and can break through tacles unlike what ty isaac has shown by FAR. I'll love if Ty if we get him to commit, BUT come on people the proof is in the pudding.
As you read this don't forget about the part saying I will love Ty if he comes to michigan. He just doesn't show the pile driving ability that other prospects show. Just check the tape and see for yourselves.
Not sure if serious...
Yeah, and why is everybody in love with Shane Morris? He always pussies out and jumps over defenders instead of running them over like Tim Tebow!
He never has to put his shoulder down into a defender because he just runs past them instead? Plus we already have Shallman committed, I'll be ok taking another top 50 guy with offers from everywhere.
Wow, this o line is loaded with maulers. It's great to see this transition.
Sparty site on Rivals needs to get with it. Theyr footbal recruiting section has a visitor's list for their junior day, headlined by a big picture of someone named Patrick Kugler, and his name in bold print. Wah-wahhhhhh.
Class will be full before you know it! Who wouldn't want to play with all these kids! It's great to be back to greatness! Long live Coach Hoke!!!
Welcome to the family: Patrick.
Now I've got to head over to RCMB and enjoy my popcorn.
I'm loving it. They locked the thread about Kugler's commitment and now there are other threads breaking out, pro and con. It's a circus.
Where is number 2?
Looks like we're getting back to the days when I can just not follow recruiting and assume that we'll be good.
I was bummed losing out on Caleb Stacey but if I had to choose between getting Stacey in 2012 or Kugler in 2013... HAIL KUGLER
I cant believe what mich is doing right now! has recruiting ever been better? Not that I can remember....
if i was a rb recruit, i would want to commit......today! come on down, ty!
Looks like Coach Dantonio should have listened at that highschool coaches conference a couple of weeks ago when Coach Hecklinski was giving his spiel on how M recruits! Could have learned a thing or two...
Let the goodtimes roll baby.
Hoke could be a 1000 yard rusher behind our future line!
Kate Upton could pick up 6.5 a clip behind this line. In heels.
I bet Sparty wishes Hoke just stop the bleeding. CAN'T STOP WON'T STOP!
Maybe we should use this vid instead of the Dougie clip, you know because well this one makes me want to drive to my nearest Carl's Jr and buy the restaurant!!!
