Funny enough you could probably say Martin is like a more athletic Avant. Martins numbers from the opening are already better than what Avant put up at the NFL combine.

in a second. Avant was a great possession receiver who always came up with the tough catch when Michigan absolutely needed the first down. Those receivers are so incredibly valuable to a team, it can't be overemphasized. In truth though, I'd say Avant was built a little more robustly than Martin is today.
