Haven't worn Nike anything since Michigan signed with adidas except the Sugar Bowl Champions hat in 2011 which doesn't really count since Nike had the BCS contract and Michigan's locker room gear was gonna be Nike. Did buy the adidas champions shirt though.

When I played football, everyone had orange and black Nike cleats and I was the only one who had custom adidas cleats. Boxed all my Nike stuff up and put it in storage.

That's what I'm going to be doing with most of my adidas stuff to make room in my closet and drawers.

At least Michigan is getting paid to advertise for these criminals, you're paying some huge multiplier factor for the privilege to wear sweatshop garbage with a logo on it instead of the same crap without a logo! It would be bad enough if you were giving them free advertising by wearing their logo but you are paying them, and not only paying them but grossly over paying them!

As I mentioned 2 weeks ago at the ASU Football camp in Cali I attended, the New Adidas Catalogs were out and showing all the schools and there colors that Adidas supports etc, No mention of Michigan or Blue anywhere. It's crazy cause Adidas is on the cutting edge floor with there new laser cut uniforms and shoes. I saw them first hand and it's pretty awesome how there gonna laser cut everything to fit each athlete individually.

With the switch, will we see any new Nike fan gear this season? Or do they need to wait for the Adidas contract to end, so not until the 2016 season?

I wish. I doubt it though. Unfortunately we will have to wait until July 1, 2016. So for those thinking about saving up for a down payment on a house or setting money aside for retirement, you don't have to this year. Just put all of that money aside for a 7/1/16 mden shopping spree.

So...does this mean that the Adidas stuff that they produce this year will be even more shitty than the past few years? I mean, knowing that Mich is dumping them for the Prom Queen...do they get bitter and say screw you?

It means Adidas apparel will be priced appropriately. I'm not paying UA prices for Adidas, just not happening. Haven't bought one thing since the switch. Adidas gear is awful. They should fire their entire branding team, reinstate the old Adidas logo, and put out better stuff. Their rep is awful!

My Nike shorts from 2006 are still going strong. Meanwhile, my Adidas shorts from 2012 have already faded and would be repulsive to wear in public.  THANK YOU, Jim (Hackett and Harbaugh!)

I find it funny when we cuss players going to Oregon because of their love for uniforms but yet 30 year old men on here get all worked up over apparel deals.
