off the top of my head I can only think of maybe four. the two Glasgow's and there was an OL from the west side of the state that was in Grahams class that lasted about a week and wasn't there a big power lifter OL kid from Seaholm who lasted maybe one year?

You can only think of 4 total? We've had numerous PWOs every year for the past several years at least. It hasn't been covered as extensively as it has this year, but this is not a new phenomenon. We've been doing this for years, I knew kids on the team when I was in college during the Carr years who were PWOs. Just as recruiting coverage has taken off since then, so has walk on coverage.

Agreed. I've also gotta think that for the vast majority if not all of the POWs, they were going to attend Michigan no matter what, and the only question is to what extent can they contribute on the scout squad, and to what extent are they fortunate enough to see real playing time or even a scholarship.
