HELLO MGOBLOG ITS VINCENT SMITH

Hello Mgoblog,

I am posting because I would like to thank you all for your support on my art project and everything else that we are working for by connecting my Michigan community and my Pahokee community.   We are making a lot of positive progress

I just wanted to take this time out to thank you all and let you know that I really appreciate it and it means a lot to be able to participate in this opportunity with you all and C2C painting, football, #EATING and the garden .

I will continue with more events and more updates on wats going on so follow along with us as we connect together, Pahokee and Michigan and do some great things.

I also want to do an AMA for mgoblog because it was fun on Reddit my first time and I was considering to do it once again because I had a great time with the last one.   So maybe I'll post that next.

For the Spring Scrimmage I wont be able to come because of my NFL training schedule but I would like to see how the tailgating experience really is and was thinking about that it would be interesting to walk around to all the tailgates and give our wristbands and let people know about #EATING at the Big House.

We want to still give out wristbands at this game, the spring scrimage one, so does any one have suggestions or ideas on how to make that happen, where to set up because we want an #eating spot so people can know where to find us.

Thanks for all your support.    #EATING  GO BLUE AND CONGRATS TO MENS BASKETBALL

(I am posting from TAE ODOMS account because he has enough points to make a post)

My wife wants to marry you so that is obvious not good for me, and therefore I hold some resentment.

But at the same time you're Vince Smith so it's all good. Good luck with your training.

My favorite "little guy". You were tough as nails man. You were out best blocking back, and I even bought one of those ugly utl jerseys because it had the number 2 on it. Best of luck man.

I would suggest on the corner between the high school and the stadium. A lot of foot traffic and tailgating.

Also, also, thanks for all you gave to Michigan. Good luck with C2C and getting to the NFL.

Thanks for all that you gave to Michigan and all that you are giving back through your work in the community. The work you are doing is exactly what "the Michigan difference" is, I believe, and this community could not be more happy to support it in any way we can. Good luck with your training!

Sorry I don't know the answer to your question, but good luck with it. And thanks for all your hard work!

I think at the corner of Stadium and Main would be good - a lot of people go by there.  Also, you may want to get in touch with the annarbor.com sports people because they could put an article in about what you are doing and (maybe) get more exposure (or at least a different crowd than hangs out here).

Also, it was fun meeting you at the Women's Football Academy last year and wish you the best of luck!

you could speak to someone within the Athletic Department and see if they have a way for you to distribute the information (I would guess not b/c of the affiliation with Mott and Special Olympics), but you never know.  If I recall correctly, only certain entrances are open for the spring game and you can at least get that information so any friends/colleagues you have out at the game can be positioned in the right spot for the most people/exposure.

In terms of setting up for the game, I'd ask the Athletic Deparment to let you set up inside the stadium by the MDen (assuming it will be open).  Between the store and the bathroom complex right there it seems to provide a lot of foot traffic.  Also that corner of the stadium is the "old people" corner who are less likely to learn about EATING via MGoBlog/Reddit/etc.

Once the game is over, migrate up to South U, either by the Union or in the little plaza by West Hall.  Lots of local folk bring their kids to the Spring Game and then get in a quick tour of campus.  Plus you'll have your normal crowd of drunken students cruising through.

If you need some storage space near the stadium, I can offer some space in a warehouse.  The mods can provide you with my email or I'll post my email here if you want the space.  I can't help much for parking though, sadly that requires god level powers at this place.
