FWIW, here's my scouting report on Cole:

From past experience, several people will ask throughout the thread, so at least it won't get lost in the shuffle here.
I'd rather read mangus
If you see someone in an airport with Michigan logos on luggage and they are wearing a pilot uniform come say hello.
He's on vacation.
Am I the only one that keeps reading Tarpon Springs, FL as Tampon Springs, FL? I am fully aware I am four years old.
"Fortune leaves always some door open."
You are an advanced 4 year old. I didn't know what tampons were when I was 4.

What about him playing right tackle I know he doesn't have great arm length. He seems like he could play four spots on the line other than LT. although Shane being a south paw....
If you see someone in an airport with Michigan logos on luggage and they are wearing a pilot uniform come say hello.
I don't think he has the size to play tackle unless he hits a growth spurt. I think he'll end up at guard. For several years, Michigan offensive tackles have all been 6'6" to 6'8". Plus I think one of Cole's strengths is his ability to pull, which is a skill used less often at tackle.
Woooooo!
"I tried to but a pencil in the light socket but it was too wide and didn't fit so I used a paperclip."-Terrelle Pryor, Future Rhodes Scholar
now we keep our fingers crossed for Artavis Scott and George Campbell.
"Maybe you can't count, but there's four of us and one of you."
"So get some more guys and it'll be a fair fight."
I love it. Scott and Campbell, your commitments are welcome at any moment also
HEY! You there!
Absolutely amazing pick up....
Offers from the entire nation....Looks versatile enough to play any position on the line, and he comes from a great program....
For people concerned about how 'mid-west centric' our recruiting was last year, we currently have commits from Virginia, Florida, Utah, and Ohio....
Um... Ohio? It may be the worst state ever, but it's relatively midwestern.
Offered by Alabama, Michigan, OSU, Florida, Florida State and a bunch of other of the top teams and......Indiana. Guess Kevin Wilson forgot he wasn't at Oklahoma anymore. This also bodes well for Michigan in the wake of the Montgomery move since Jerry was his primary recruiter. Michigan sells itself baby!
The swag is back.
Coles' commitment after Montgomery left just proves that Montgomery wasn't really doing all that much and we're better off cutting the dead weight from the program
Intensity is a lot of guys that run fast.
Especially since Montgomery was the one who was involved in bringing in Ferns, Speight and Mone. You never like it when a guy is bringing in quality players like that. He was also pretty involved with quite a few other guys on the board so its a great thing he's gone. I would definitely not call him "dead weight". He did a pretty good job while at Michigan.
Now that's just crazy talk. From all accounts the guy was a good coach and a good recruiter. Hoke and Co. will likely hire another coach (not for DL, but perhaps for another position group) that is also a good coach and good recruiter.
Jerry Montgomery leaving was not the end of the world as some posters seemed afraid of, but it is also not "cutting dead weight".
Edit: If you were using sarcasm, Sushi, I totally missed it.
The swag is back.
Yeah I'm sure that's why Oklahoma was willing to give him a $70k raise. Actually nevermind - I'll just flat out call you an idiot. Idiot.
I am an anarchist and all that but it seems like the board has taken a step backward the last two months with more name calling and too many people talking just to hear themselves speak.
Am I right? Or is it just me?
We are the dead.
70K? Dave Brandon needs to break out his wallet. At Auburn, that's the going rate for one 3-star tight end or two long-snappers.

I think sarcasm.
Sarcasm?
Right?
PROTIP: If people can't tell it's sarcasm, it's probably not very good sarcasm

Great to get a great player from Florida. He alone is a huge get for Michigan. The fact that he is tight with other studs from East Lake could be HUGE!
This is awesome. Are there any thoughts on what effect, if any, Artavis Scott will have on Drake Harris?
Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Scott needs to jump on board first. If that happens I don't think it would affect Harris too much.
"I have three kids and no money. Why can't I have no kids and three money?"
Fair. I am jumping to conclusions. However, they definitely said they were a package deal on numerous occasions. That's definitely still up in the air, but I was reacting to that.
Scott and Harris are very different players. Just look at their measurables. They would compliment each other quite nicely.
edit: Should do a little extra scrolling before responding. Way late.
"Michigan Defense" is dominating everything, in every aspect of life. That's a rough definition.

so probably not at all. Scott's size says more slot receiver to me, whereas Harris is pure wideout. I could be wrong on that assessment however.

Cue the dancing Kates and welcome aboard Mason!
Chaos is found in greatest abundance wherever order is being sought. It always defeats order because it is better organized.
Woohoo! I've been in serious withdrawls since the Mone commit, thanks for the fix Mason!
Looks like the metha-cruiting clinic will have one less tweaker to take care of tonight!
The swag is back.
Very good pickup. After I heard Mason's quote last night I figured Michigan was the place for him. Good thing to hear when you're just getting off work.

You can usually find me bumping some Reggae, hammered on Higgins Lake with the goon squad. #HALOL
Go Blue!
Now grab your buddies, Artavis and George!
Your father wouldn't want to hear this, Sonny. This is business, not personal.
This is good! Welcome to michigan!
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.
Artavis...where you at, bro? Great news for Michigan!
but I thought Urban got every recruit from Florida?

Huge get for us. Not only because it gives us a great OL commit, but because it puts us in a great position for Artavis Scott and George Campbell.

Beat me to the punch. Glad to get him on board so early.
