Come to MGo and read Ace's Q & A for a few minutes. Click on Twitter and we have a commitment from Mr. Marshall. Welcome to Michigan recruiting where commits can come in in less than 21 seconds..

The SEC seems to do pretty well getting recruits to do both.  The "Hostesses" are doing their job and obviously the MSU football program isn't holding up their end of the bargain...

1. He keeps his girlfriend (if applicable).
2. He is smart enough to know that people don't listen to Staee girls.
3. It was easy
4. He gets a degree to a college she probably couldn't have.
I am not trying to be a jackass, but it is life and they can't accept it. Some people drive a new Maserati 2014 Gran Turismo hand made in Modena, and some drive a used Saturn. It is life and people need to quit whining at RCMB.

This is one way Michigan and Sparty can combine forces - offer the "hosting capabilities" of MSU girls and then send them over to Ann Arbor for the serious stuff.  See, we CAN work together.

Peppers may be a safety.

Sure he's a higher rated prospect, but you never want to lose a top kid from the state and a pipeline school.

I loved getting Donovan Warren, but losing out on RoJo was always tough. But that's recruiting.

We'd all love to have them both.

If we get Peppers, Hand, McDowell and Westphal, then maybe I'll truly forget about Webb.

you cannot look at it that way.  There are 4 starters in the secondary, Peppers cannot play them all at the same time.

IMO, Webb is probably the top player in the State of MIchigan.  I believe he is the most ready to play his position right now.  I believe Harris and McDowell have better upside though.

Webb stings a bit.  Wish we could flip him but most on here say no chance for whatever reason.

I saw a lot of "once he gets his USC offer he'll commit, he's just going to choose MSU until he gets that USC offer", any chance he backs out now? That's kind of worrisome in my mind.

This is excellent news, of course, and only a day after we get a #3 overall ranking for the class to date from ESPN. That makes for nine commits for 2014 already, I believe, and that Michigan is an in-demand place for top talent is a tribute to how the staff identifies talent early and then recruits talent.

Welcome to Michigan, Lawrence Marshall!

If we get HAND and McDOWELL and PEPPERS (and it seems Peppers is a yes and McDowell strong lean) the rest of the class is somewhat irrelevent.   I dont mean the names above but you can put any combination of 4 stars or "Hoke sleeper 3 stars" into the rest of the slots and it is a sick class.

...I can't help but want one of those ridiculous classes.

I want one of those video game like classes, those classes that star-gazers love, one of those f*** you SEC classes.

We're not going to be high on numbers, so let's be high on impact players. That's what this team is missing. Other than Denard (and I guess Lewan and Molk), we haven't had a true playmaker on our team since Brandon Graham.

I want high draft picks. I want reload not rebuild. I want to truly be the leaders and the best.

So much salt in this comment.

"I don't know what's in the water in AA, but it's making kids believe whatever it is they're selling. I'd be very interested to see what the average visit is like down there. Between the dump of a city, the hideous girls, and a disgusting, inarticulate slob of a head coach, I'm surprised they can even put together a recruiting class - let alone a top ranked one. Nostalgia for the 1800s should only be able to take a program so far in 2013."
