i find this extremely interesting
who dat
"It would be a travesty, it would be ridiculous to all of a sudden come back and get the feeling back, get the health back, feel good again and then all of a sudden go throw some other colors on my shirt and go coach."
Probably top TE in MI...most likely will be a high 3-star to the gurus. Looks like Hoke & co. saw something special with such an early offer.
I bet we offered as a DE. 6'2'' 230 doesn't seem anywhere near the size we're looking for a TE in this offense.
I thought you stopped following recruiting?

Troll.
Man ball. Formerly, somebody else.
Considering he was the MVP as a TE at camp and was offered soon after probably speaks otherwise, but I'm sure we won't know until an interview comes out with Mr. Hill.
"It's a tight end/H-Back kind of deal. He's a utility guy, who will be motioning from fullback, get work done in the slot. They'll move him around a lot. They sat him down and told him how they're going to use him. They said he'd do a lot of what Kevin Koger did last year."

I read that as "TE MVP" as in, MVP at his position... am I reading that wrong? Was he really the best overall player at the camp? If so then hot damn, we got ourselves a pretty sweet weapon.
Tenim un nom el sap tothom. Barca, Barca, BAAARCA!
he is the perfect size for a H back. used like Chris Cooley for te Redskins. They are about th same size.
Vice.com
...I was going to make. Here's Cooley's NFL profie listing him at 6'3" 255 lbs. And here's Aaron Hernandez's profile - he's 6'1" 245 lbs.
As a HS junior, Hill is approaching the size of the prototypical NFL H-Back.

We do have an H-back role on the team. He seems like a pretty good size for that spot.
Nice to see some early commits. Welcome Khalid
Nice field at the 2:00 mark. Seems he's looking for a somewhere to run where he isn't ankle deep in water rather than running from tacklers haha.
Intensity is a lot of guys that run fast.
He looks pretty good rumbling, bumbling, stumbling!

Seconded

They offered him based on a camp performance. Any time the coaches offer a prospect after seeing him that in depth, you don't really worry about the offer list or recruiting rankings. They know talent and they liked what they saw, that's all you really need to know I think.
our package is our package, and it’s pretty big. - Greg Mattison, Bowl Practice Presser Tr. 12-13-11.
Has this been a trend during Hoke's time as a Head Coach at his previous stops to develop a large recruiting class early in the process? It sure seems like it so far at Michigan.
Didn't see it coming either, but he was on campus today and he jumped on the offer right away.
Comes from the same school as Brandon Graham.

Rivals has him listed as a weakside defensive end, but almost everywhere else he is a tight end. I'm assuming off of our needs though that he will be a tight end though. But all that doesn't matter, welcome to the family, Khalid!
6-2 230 for a TE/DE? I guess he can grow, but that's pretty small for those positions. I wonder if they are planning on moving him.
Brandon Graham disagrees.

Aaron Hernandez is 6'2" he did alright for himself in the NFL this year.

Mayne Hoke saw what Belichick did to Hernadez, and is about to do the same. TE/RB would be nice. isnt it like brandon Jacob's size too
Playing football on Wall Street
Looks like he'll be a high 3 star type. Glad we got a TE early in the process. Welcome to the team!
brother named Khalil. Any info on whether he is also a potential M recruit?
He is, according to ESPN. He is a 5'9 CB, so not identical twin obviously!

6'2" and 235 at this age ... I wonder what his upside weight potential is?

Woooo! Now we only have to wait another day or two and we'll have another TE. That's how it works still right? Hello: Breneman?!
Special Teams means special times!
I can honestly say I didn't see that one coming. Welcome to the michigan family mr. Hill!
