Hello: Keith Heitzman
Rivals.com reporting Ohio 3 Star DE/TE Keith Heitzman (6'3", 240 lb) has committed to Michigan.
Former Vandy commit. Early reports seem to indicate he's being recruited as a TE. Got an offer a couple of days ago. Offers from M, Vandy, Illinois, Indiana, Minny, and some MAC schools. Tim's write-up shouldn't take too long to be up on the front page.
JOKE 1:HOORAY LIFE CAN GO ON NOW THAT WE HAVE THAT LEGENDARY SEC SPEED!
JOKE 2: HELLLLOOOOO HEITZMAN

We've stoled recruits from Minnesota and Vanderbilt. I'm really starting to wonder about the direction this progam is headed. Two commits from lower ranked guys with higher ranked guys at the same position coming on visits. Makes no sense to me unless our HC has decided to just settle on anyone willing to say yes for this year. I hope the hoke isn't on us.

FYI, the guy we "stoled" from MN also had offers from Iowa, Stanford, and Arizona.

Welcome to Michigan

Finally a TE...
I feel like this year has had an abnormally large number of swings and misses on TE prospects.

Sounds like he could play TE or DE, perhaps based on how we do on other TE prospects. His ability to play both is a bonus.

With the rumors that Ricardo was being moved to TE, it may have downgraded our need at the position. We definitely needed another one, welcome Keith, but I think we should be good now. I like the move of Miller to TE and think he can be a good downfield threat and weapon at that position. He was already pretty big (and a little too slow) for the WR position.

Welcome Keith - Go Blue!

is a good open field tackler. i think if we redshirt his this year bulk him up, then he can maybe become a DT

He's at 237. That's a LOT of weight to put on

if he puts on about 20ish pounds by with the new S&C program but it makes more sense than he would stay at DE because his highlights make it look like he has a ton of strength

Did someone say, Snake Oil?
Let it roll, let it roll.
Hoke is The Closer.

I thought snake oil died when Coach Rod was fired. Please tell me it's dead.

Anytime we pull an Ohio recruit, it's usually a win.

Great news, definitly 2 positions of need no matter where they place him. If Bryant and Taylor end up in this class along with either Mcclure or Willingham that is a nice haul of 4 stars on top of all of these 3 stars.

Go North, Young Man! Hoke's first two commits are from the Columbus area. It's almost like he takes the rivalry personally.

For a second, I was worried we had another Dudeness on board

Not too many pass catching highlights in the video. Blocking TE or put 40 lbs on him and make him a DT.
Either way nice to have another name on the board.

Looks like he has good awareness. He fits a position of need either TE or DE. I hope he stays on defense though.

Hello Keith,...Come On Down ...!

Ohio to Michigan. You will not regret this decision Keith.
I like the versatility as he plays 2 positions of need. Go Blue!
