Welcome Jack! Go Blue!

As to the Harvard comments, I suggest those who posted he should have chosen Harvard do the follwing:

Look up the difference in tuition, room, board and travel between attending Michigan as a stae resident, and Harvard. Multiply it by four.

The final number is more than 99% of the people in the world can claim as net worth.

Harvard does not give scholarships, does give aid, and can get a limited # of athletes in each year for each team w/ lower grades. The baseball coaches told me I could get in w a 1200 SAT score under the old scoring if they wanted me as a pitcher. I didn't test this statement because I wanted to play in the BIG but that was their pitch to me. If that was true, I would bet QBs could even get in w lower scores can anyone verify that guess?

Lastly, I met John Wangler, we used to get our hair cut at the same place. Very nice guy. Good man.

So even though he had an offer from Harvard, none of his stats are anywhere near "impressive" for college football recruits.  The fact that he played on the 7v7 team means very little, I mean I could know Denard Robinson and play on a flag fooball team with him but it won't make me a college football player.  It does not automatically make him college football material.  I mean, even Eastern Michigan showed very little interest according to 247 sports.  His name has got him this attention, no doubt.  He may be an above average high school athlete and knows the game of football well but once again a name and average ability to play this sport does not make a college football player.  I also hear that the character of the family especially his father and his behavior while a parent of student athletes at Shrine Catholic High School is questionable. This behavior is inevitably passed down through to the children. I do not believe, based on many accounts of the Wangler family's behavior, that Jack Wangler will have what is needed to be a true Michigan Man.  His father looks to have lost this quality over the years as well.

Get lost. He's a walk on.  It doesn't affect anything.  All this post does is make you look insecure and immature.

to say that a high school kid who took a walk on role lacks character. Go ahead and say he'll never see the field based on your experience of seeing his film or seeing him in person, but remarking negatively (and apparently without much basis) on a recruits character is pretty much opposite the reason the site exists.
