HELLO: Ethan Alexander (c/o 2033)

Submitted by will on

In response to obvious excitement over the recent hire of one Jim Harbaugh, a recruit which was not expected to be announced until next wednesday decided he could wait no longer.

Ethan Alexander Nimmo, weighing 7 pounds, 7 ounces and measuring 19 inches was born Wednesday morning in Columbus, Ohio.

Their father is proud to announce another member of the Michigan family, but is embarassed by his lack of preparation for this announcement. While custom shirts exist, they are safely stored in a box which could not be located.

Ethan was chosen as a name by his mother, and Alexander from his great-grandfathers middle name, and a WR you may remember. Showing early promise, he has strong hands. His pad level will surely develop as he matures, he is already raising his head to look around.

Mother is resting well, and the experience is proving far less difficult so far than the twins were. The post is actually done the day of birth!

You've also said:

"The tea leaves don't read well for the Fire-Hoke-Pay-Harbaugh gang."

"With the sense I get from Schlissel and the new regime, my guess is a new coach is probably going to be a no name and certainly not one of the big three."

Remind us again why we're supposed to pay attention to what you say?

Congrats on no 3.

I was the third in my "class" and I was sure (and still am sure, for the record) that I was the favorite. Best of luck. Start training him early to be the next great UofM QB.

Say on a news show they were giving out Buckeye championship game t-shirts in the nursery in some hospitals. (My kids were born in Cincinnati and all got Reds one side they never wore). Hope you made sure to tell nurses to never dress him that way.
Also, bit of advice. It is awsome to watch a game with your son, but throwing the remote because of a bad play can cause your son to find other things to do.

I don't know how long it takes to make a hat like that for MGoWife, and she is going to have her hands full in the near term, but I am telling you that hat would sell like bonkers at MDen.

Derrick Alexander was a beast and clearly Ethan will be too. Congratulations man.

Hopefully he and my almost one year old can share an "M" backfield one day. I don't know what your family believes in but mine is agnostic in terms of offense or defense.  Grandma says: it's just best to "just follow Jim's plan."

Do you have a measured 40 time? I realize it is less than 24 hours but I am impatient with these things.  TIA.

Also - if Jim Harbaugh comes out on game day in that hat for a cold blustry Nov matinee vs OSU I may cry.

Congrats.

Actually, the experience with Ethan has been so different than with the twins, I'm not sure what to do with myself. I haven't put together the crib or installed the carseat, all that was to be done this weekend :/  Ethan is eating well from the breast, has had multiple bowel movements, and seems to like to sleep. Knock on wood, things are looking great.

But MGOWife is sleeping (that didn't happen with the twins) so I've collected my COC resources, posted to FB and MGoBlog, and am now going to nap. I feel I'm in some twilight zone hospital episode.

Had I planned the post better, the last line would have been:

WHO HAS IT BETTER THAN US??

Maize and Blue…

Likes breasts,

Has multiple bowel movements,

Likes to sleep,

Seems like he and I have alot in common. I am somewhat concerned about where you are living though, for no child should have to grow up in Columbus. Have you considered moving ? Now that you have a family and all.
