Hey, that's my high school! I somewhat know that kid, he was one of the better players on the defense that won a state title pretty convincingly this year. That's awesome for him and Michigan.

Cheyenn. Wonder if he was born in Wyoming.

Ya think?
I went to high school with a kid who's name was spelled very similarly to this (only had one "n" on the end) and they pronouced it like the name "shane"...Not sure if this is how he pronounces it or not
or on a beach...

Harbaugh has a really skinny neck, no?

Wonder if he adds weight to stay at LB, or stays around the same and plays sort of a rover position. Either way, some nice highlights. Good for him and for Michigan!
Does he have any other offers? Remember there is another PWO that has one or two offers.
He's not even listed in the Rivals database of players from St. Peters, so it's impossible to say.
247Sports doesn't seem to have a listing for him either, so it is difficult to track down indeed. NJ High School Sports had some of his stats from 2014, but like MaxPreps and other sites that collect information on high school players, it seems less than complete - it lists 10 sacks and 27 tackles across only 5-6 games, which doesn't strike me as right somehow. I could always be missing something here, of course.

There is no mention of other offers however.

He does not look to me like a guy who would probably earn FBS offers. But that's the case with most preferred walk-ons.
Cornell, West Point, The Citadel, Sacred Heart, UCONN, Georgia Southern.
HS is loaded - Brandon Wimbush to ND, Minkah Fitzpatrick to Bama - just 2 guys who signed this past February. Both guys in the top 50 per 247 composite. At least it gives Michigan a tiny foothold into this market. Perhaps that NJ coach who is now in UM admin gave Jimbo the heads up on this kid.
I wonder if Michigan ever landed a scholarship player from the school.
Two-hundred and twenty-seven wins. Twenty county titles. Ten state championship appearances. Four state titles. Five NFL players, including current Baltimore Ravens safety Will Hill. Dozens of Division I players. This is what a New Jersey football powerhouse looks like.

I'm not sure if he's still on a NFL roster, but Khalil Wilkes went there too. He was a starter on the Stanford OL the last couple of years, so Harbaugh knows about the school.

If you're really counting on that you're going to be disappointed.

Harbaugh is really going to scrap between now and the season for recruits.
He's still warming up on the recruiting front. He's not going to get commits overnight coming from the NFL. He was so focused on finishing up the 2015 class that he's just getting going on the 2016 class where his peers had at least a year to warm up to these recruits already.
