Yeah we are talking about a guy who is a 4 star to every site and it top 5 APB to rivals and in their top 250, and in the top 247 at 24/7 sports. This is not a last minute last resort, its a luxury at a skill position, to add to an already awesome class! I always was curious why we hadn't offered especially when Alabama was very interested but assumed we needed too many other positions to take more of a Percy Harvin/ Steve Breaston typeplayer. Kid could seriously see the field and make a huge difference NEXT year.

But my guess is we won't be seeing Mr. Norfleet knock lineman backwards like Mike used to.

Sorry - I know you're not necessarily comparing Norfleet and Hart overall. I just get defensive when every single time people see a short running back they compare him to Hart.  Vincent Smith, for example, may be close to Hart in shiftiness (though I think he's a notch or two away), but he's got a small fraction of Hart's ability to break tackles.

Dude is Michigan's all-time leading rusher for a reason.

EDIT:  Punctuation made less ... creative

What you said, x 2. It's not apples and oranges, but it's close. Very different players ... I'm reminded of the nameless UMich football alum who, in a Rivals article, compared Drake to ... Mike Hart (!?).

Here's my preferred role for Drake: Gunner on the punt special teams unit.

Welcome Dennis! Great pick up.  You can always use someone with his type of athleticism.  His film is as impressive as it comes.  I truly think that between him and Drake Johnson we will hit it big on at least one of them, maybe both.  Two extremely explosive players, and would complement a certain 2013 back (rhymes with Pie Byezick) extremely well.

Honestly.. This is my last post on the topic, but I think a lot of you are really going to find out that you underestimated this kid after he's running all over the field

I really think he will make an impact next year... A significant one...

Reminds me of dee hart.. No joke

I'm not always the most positive guy on the board about recruits but I really think he is something special

Wow extremely surprised he flipped, at the last second too. With Norfleet now in the mix at RB what do we think is going to happen to Justice Hayes? Do they keep him at RB or does he possibly move to the slot where he could excel just as well?

7 out of the 10 best players in the state. Basically, we own the state of Michigan once again. Doing that and making some recruiting noise in Ohio going forward, and everything will be fantastic.

Could he even add weight to get stronger if he wanted to? I don't even know how to judge the weight of a guy who's 5 7". 170 is really light but he also looks jacked in all of his pictures.  I agree I think he could play right away.

I think Gorgeous saw his tape for he first time today and was like "Hey Brady?  We've had a few spots open up right?  Do me a favor and go poach this kid real quick."  Borges has some serious weapons coming in this class.

Looks like a great pick up. I only wonder what took so long.

I like that he has history with Shane.

I love that he passed on a Sparty offer.

dilithium part two? kid can run. these coaches have brought in some serious speed in the back field with him and drake. its nice to see michigan dominate in state recruiting. im proud to  have him on board for the next 4-5 years. welcome dennis!

P.S. its funny when people talk about size. look at our quarterback. he's not the ideal size for his position. he's even small for a dual threat. i do not think people are complaining about him.

Dennis Norfleet had an overwhelming desire to play for Michigan all along and a late offer was enough to steal him away from Cincinatti. I remember Ron Thompson really wanting to play for Michigan, why can't this happen with him too?

we not heard much about this kid? Seems like an absolute steal!! 4 star 250 rb, Top 5 APB .....I really think this kid is going to be special......If We get Diamond, even if we dont this class significantly boosts the talent level at Michigan. Look at what Mattison did with three stars.....can't wait to see what happens when this type of talent and coaching meet! ......Yes I am very excited right now.

I just remembered a moment I had during the Rose Bowl after watching DeAnthony Thomas fly past 6 guys and get in the end zone 20 yards ahead of them. I said damn I wish we had that.  Now we have Denard and Norfleet.
