Anyone have a highlight video on him? His hudl page seemed empty. He has the size you want and looks like he has a good frame so I trust Harbaugh. Just always anxious when I can't see what type of player he is. I did see somewhere that they had Seniors so he may not have played much. Anyone see him play in person?

Magnus probably has more in depth info on leverage points and body type, but I would think height/weight numbers aren't really indicative.  Rather, frame or sheer skeleton size.  Guys like Lewan and Long (or Tyron Smith who went to USC and is a Pro Bowler with the Cowboys) were pretty lean in high school, but were huge guys, if that makes sense.  They added muscle and became dominant players.

It seems like the 300+ pounders in high school tend to be overrated, in contrast.

Joe Staley was a scrawny track star in high school.  Now he's an All-Pro LT.  I'm sure if Dunaway is 6'6" and worthy of a Michigan scholarship, he's got a big frame.  I'm not saying I think he'll be a tackle, but I bet he could handle the weight.  he could be AJ Williams size for sure.

Very excited to see what the tight end's can do in harbaugh's system. Hopefully Michigan can build something like they did at Stanford. In 2010 Stanford had Fleener, Ertz and Toilolo as tight ends. Each one of those guys are now contributing in the NFL.

so much damn hate in here... I'm happy to welcome in Mr. Dunaway.  I have complete faith in Harbaugh just from what he did at Stanford.  He never brought Stanford to a high caliber recruiting level yet made them a ten win school year in and year out.

ps... I read Pinky's first three or four responses and just decided to straight up negbang him on the rest.

that it seems way too early in the 2017 recruiting cycle to go after an unranked player, I would have sort of agreed with you. If you look at the top programs, their 2017 commits are highly ranked. For example, osu has 4 commits for 2017, two 5 stars and two 4 stars. You don't get very many unranked players getting offers from schools like Michigan this early, but in Harbaugh we trust. I believe he's one of the best talent evaluators in college football. If Harbaugh sees enough talent to offer the kid, then we should be thrilled the kid is willing to accept.

He will be a big Target! Carter could easily be 6'5" 250 when he steps on campus! Coach Harbaugh likes him and that is all that matters. Welcome to Michigan Carter!

These 16 year old kids deserve a warm welcome when they make a decision like this (and are nice enough to choose the school we all love).  The shit in this thread and last night has been completely disgusting.  Glad it got nuked, at least in this thread.

Welcome aboard, Carter.  You chose a great school to attend and for a guy who plays your position I don't think you could find a better coach anywhere in the country to spot your talents and get the most out of your natural ability.  Go Blue!

It ain't the thread for it but I stand by my belief that we need the best talent like the Tigers got Cabrera and Victor Martinez. Why make it harder for you when you've seen that the past 11 nc teams have had a top 10 class. Our arch rival has multiple top 5 classes and maybe Harbaugh will still get top 5 classes. When the summer comes I expect it to pick up. Good night.

If it's not the thread for it then why are you saying it in this thread?

Harbaugh will have very good recruiting.  Will it be as good as OSU right now?  No, they just won the national title.  No one's will be as good as theirs.  But we will be close enough that we can compete.  We will have top 10 classes, don't worry.

the point. First Harbaugh may see him as a damn good recruit. Recruiting services are often off early on. The main thing though is Harbaugh is selling what Michigan means. It's a family and we owe something to past players. Michigan is for life and we will take care of not only you but your family. This may have long term dividends down the road far greater than Carter's contribution even if he becomes an all American. Nice to have you join the team Carter.

Maybe it's just the app but I received a message saying my currrent was deleted. It was in reply to another so I figured it fit with the "collateral damage" explanation given in the possible reasons why section of the email notice. However, I can still see the comment I replied to and all the horrible ones after. Further, my comment was polite & in no way anything but welcoming/defending of a very welcome recruit. I also explained that even the best teams are built on those guys (only as strong as your weakest link). I then added that no sport has on field performance so directly tied to the quality of HC/manager as CFB. I'm just wondering if I can still see the far worse replies because of the app or what? I'm baffled lol. Oh, well....either way I guess.

New World Order, man lol. Bilderberger groupb with their drones & illuminati agents of chaos. If they killed Kennedy imagine how easy it is to delete our truly polite, innocent comments while leaving up the truly mean spirited ones! I smell conspiracy. Signed, Jesse Ventura. haha

Half the comments are for another thread, are far too negative, or they're just plain weird...we should try this again when the BAC is a little lower.
